The hot bath worked like magic to erase not only the dirt but also the worries of the day. Sarah filled in the bathtub for Ophelia the moment she got back. The water temperature was a little higher than what she usually preferred but it didn’t bother her. The sting of the hot water on her bare skin was pain she enjoyed, it took her mind off of things she rather not think about again. But, every now and then she saw images of her brother, the way he looked at her this morning. The feeling that he was going to jump at her at any given moment kept her on edge even now.
