“She hasn’t left her room for two days.” I jumped as I heard Lucien’s voice behind me. 

Looking over my shoulder, I found him standing a few feet away from me, an irritated look etched on his face. He looked at me with disappointment and anger, as though I hadn’t finished a task that was assigned to me. His reaction made me frown, making me wonder why he was complaining to me at all.
