126. Not always the solution

Marcus’ POV 

The scent of her was tormenting me. 

She was everywhere. In our living room, in our garden, between our sheets, and most important of all, in my thoughts. No matter how much I desired to stay away from her, she just kept infiltrating my mind and space. And now, as she looked out the window of the car with a pout, all I desired to do was pull her towards me and comfort her. 

But I couldn’t. 

Everytime I wanted to show her any love, her actions from the past few days came into my mind. I could never forget how she worked with Lucien, how she let me think that striking up that deal with him was a good idea, how she constantly worked in favor of the man that killed my father.

They need to communicate. I get where he is coming from because he stuck on the vampire prince killed his dad and he feels she betrayed him and went behind his back. She should have talked with him through it all instead of doing it behind his back. They both have made mistakes and need to fix it.
