What does father mean by saying that I would go to the enemy pack?

My heart was beating at this point. I looked at the entire council and did find fail to see the pleasure in their eyes. This was what they wanted for me and there was nothing I could do about it.

“Father please. You can’t do this to me”, I cried out, gulping down hard and wishing that for the very first time, he would look into my eyes and listen to me.

“She is a big threat and we can’t keep her here”, one of the council members said and again, my heart broke.
