Third person. Early that morning, the Alpha king summoned the quad for an urgent meeting. This was quite unusual because he was yet to say a word to them after the last banter they had. Ethan walked over to Jason’s room, with a small frown on his face. He sensed that his father was up to something and despite how much he tried to push it out of his mind, he was still quite disturbed. “This is just 5:am. What would make him call for us?” Ethan asked Jason who was as shocked as he was. Mason and Jake also walked into the room, with the same expression on their faces. Their father was very unpredictable and due to the fact that they concealed being mated to Kayla away from him, they could tell that his heart was still on fire. “We should go answer him first. Who knows? Maybe he wants to forgive us and bring her pack home”, Jake said as his eyes brightened in excitement. Jason rolled his eyes at Jake and so did others. Jake usually liked making a severe situation look less importan
Jason. We got done with our preparations in no time and just as our father had said, we were set to go meet with Kayla that morning. Different emotions surged through my soul. A part of my heart was excited about the plan but another was quite convinced that there was something more about everything. After fifteen minutes drive, I cleared my throat and directed my gaze to my father who was sitting behind me. “Father…is there something you are yet to let us know?” I asked and for a moment, he acted as though he had no idea of what I had just said. I tapped him gently to bring him back to reality since he looked as though he was lost in thoughts.“Father, are we really going to bring Kayla back? What exactly is the reason behind our heading over to the black wood pack?” I asked again, with my brothers looking at me with an expression that suggested how confused they were as well. “I would like everyone to remain silent. I wouldn’t want my ears to be filled with noise on this trip”,
Kayla. I was pacing around the room and looking around in worry when I heard the sound of the door knob. Prior to that, I was excited since the Alpha told me that my step brothers would be coming to meet with me. The only thing I could think of was the fact that they were coming to take me back home. “Maybe the alpha king finally realized that fate happens…”, I had thought silently when it also dawned on me that he would be coming with them. However, quite a number of hours had passed and I heard no word from them. At a point, I was beginning to lose faith in the idea that they would come around. “Come with me”, I heard the voice of the security guard who walked into my room and abruptly, my heart leapt in excitement. I took in a very deep breath after which I wore a smile and slowly followed him out of the dark room where I was kept. He was leading me into the main pack house and this got me worried. Ever since I was brought into the pack, I never stepped foot into the main pac
Third person. The Alpha King slammed his fist on the table, breathing heavily with his eyes bloodshot in rage. Kayla shuddered and so did everyone else in the room. The Alpha king has been so quiet at the beginning but they could see that he had a lot to say. “You want that thing out of her neck? So that she can use her powers to hypnotize any of us?” He yelled out of his lungs. “What if she commands me in her heart to go kill myself? Or do you think that she has no idea to do that?” He asked again, looking at everyone of the quad who didn’t really have much to say. “She made Ashley slam her head in a wall and that is nothing you can tell me about her not being dangerous! She is everything dangerous and I won’t hear anything other than that”, he declared defiantly and for a moment, silence rented the air. Jason made to talk but kept mute the minute he saw the expression on Kayla’s face. She seemed to be telling him not to say a word and so, he remained quiet. The dinner went on
The next day didn’t start on a good note for Kayla. She woke up to find a wedding dress hanging before her. She was taken aback as she looked around, wondering who must have made the huge mistake of leaving their dress in where she was kept. Just then, a servant walked into the room, with a big frown on his face. “That is your dress. You will be using it in the next three days”, he said to Kayla and for a while, she thought that she had just heard wrongly. “What do you mean? This is a wedding dress”, she stuttered.
Ethan. For the hundredth time, I tried to ask myself what was going on. The more I tried to get a response, the more confused I got. What does our father and Alpha Denver mean by saying that Kayla was going to get married? “At this point that seems to be the only option she has to stay safe and be protected. If you all riot about it, we might consider keeping her dead to save the entire pack”, our father had explained and again, I wondered what he meant by that. Kayla was our mate and it would be stupid to see her married to another.
Kayla.I had to find a way to meet with the quad. If what I heard was true, then it simply meant that there was a great need for me to make a plan with them. There was no way I would get married to Alpha Denver. That was crazy and despite how hard it looked hard to believe, I knew that my step father would do anything to ensure that I stay away from his sons. “Please, I need to get some fresh air!” I cried out as I knocked on the door, with tears rolling out of my eyes just as I hoped that one of the guards would take pity upon me and open up the door.
Third person. This was the first day of Kayla’s reveal. Kayla had no idea of what was going on. But then, with each day that passed, she became convinced that she would end up getting married to the most cruel person if nothing is done. “Please…don’t do this to me. I didn’t hurt anyone”, she whimpered inside the room, trying so hard to tear off the metal chain on her neck. Where that chain came from was what Kayla couldn’t tell and how it was able to stop her from using any of her powers got her more scared.
