THE FUNERAL

The quad were still hiding inside their various rooms, in their mourning state.

On my part, I was cold and numb as I sat in the garden. I had a lot of thoughts in my head and even if I direly wanted him to apologize to me, I didn’t wish his death.

He brought his death upon himself though because he had thought that Denver’s pack was at peace with him. That was the major mistake that allowed his death.

Just then, a loud wail came booming directly into my ears and abruptly, I felt a cold shiver running down my spine. It was Jason.

My heart broke into a thousand pieces as I held myself from jerking up and running towards his room. They hated me and I knew it. I had refused to help them with my powers even though they screamed and asked me for help.

What was I meant to do? Save the man responsible for my mother’s death? That was something I would never do.

A tear dropped out of my eyes as I clutched on to my chest and broke into a very silent sob.
