It was high time the entire fight came to an end. I was exhausted and needed someone to cling on but that seemed to be impossible because every single person deserted me.

“Please, let’s make peace”, I said to Jason who was looking at me as though he had just seen a ghost. Despite how hard he tried to avoid having an eye contact with me, I could tell that he missed me as much as I did.

“Kayla, everyone needs space at this point and it’s only cool that we leave things the way they are”, he explained just as I searched through his eyes as though I could really tell what he felt.

“That’s not true. Deep down your heart, I know that you want all of these to end. I know that you desire me. I know that you want me. I can feel it in my bones”, I said in a whisper as I used my hand to caress his cheeks softly.
