When anger takes over

I knew that one day Daon would find out everything, and I thought that when that day came, I’d be able to say something better than just repeating meaningless apologies to him. I knew I was wrong, I knew Daon didn’t deserve any of this, but the more he talked, the more anger I felt. When he started hitting me relentlessly, without even trying to hear or understand what I had to say, I completely lost control and started throwing punches and kicks back at him.

We were blindly attacking each other. My fists hurt and were covered in blood. I couldn’t tell if it was mine or Daon’s. I could hear Jane’s voice in the distance, trying to get us to stop, but the rage had blinded us. The only thing that finally made us stop was when Simon and Maryna appeared and pulled us apart before something worse happened. Even though they broke up the fight, we kept attacking each other, but now, instead of fists, we used words.
