The guard zooms in and, after enhancing the image, the vehicle’s license plate becomes clearly visible. Maryna grabs her phone and starts dialing a number while Daon seems to be growing increasingly anxious about his call.

"No! We have recordings that prove she was kidnapped! She didn’t run away! I CAN'T CALM DOWN! MY WIFE WAS DRUGGED, KIDNAPPED, AND YOU’RE TELLING ME TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW? BY TOMORROW HE’LL ALREADY HAVE TAKEN HER OUT OF THE COUNTRY, YOU IDIOT!" Daon shouted, enraged.

He didn’t seem to be getting anywhere with the inspector, who appeared to be stubbornly holding onto his own version of the story. Meanwhile, Maryna looked excited as she spoke in a language I didn’t understand, and as soon as she hung up, my heart almost stopped.

"A long-time friend is going to try to track the car, but he reminded me of something important. The only airport with international flights is Incheon, so we need to head there immediately," Maryna explained urgently.
