Chapter Forty Six - Escaped

It didn’t take me half an hour to managed to take them all down. I don’t know exactly what happened, but there they were, lying below my feet, unmoving and bleeding.

Maybe my training finally paid off? Alex's lessons were definitely something. Their movements were so much slower compared to his. That must be why it was easier than I expected.

Still, it took a toll on my body. I could feel my muscles straining, aching with every breath I took.

“W-What the hell did you do!” Laine screamed, her voice contained a mix of fear and confusion.

I faced her before smirking, “What? You couldn’t believe I was this strong? Remember, Laine, I was once a Luna.”

“And I am not letting anyone take my life away from me again.” I gritted my teeth before turning my back against her, “Take this as a warning, you don’t want the Alpha King going after you, right?”

I knew, deep in the back of my mind, that I had to tell Alex about what happened. But for some reason, I didn’t want to get him in
