Alex’s POV

Ever since Julia and Richard came back home, I have been avoiding interacting with them. We hardly say much to each other and just exchange greetings. I wasn't comfortable staying together with them under one roof but I didn't have a choice. Julia had tried making conversations with me but I had successfully avoided them with ease. I made sure I avoided close range and I never sit in the living room or went to the kitchen whenever I knew Julia was there.

I was in the basement training when I had the urge to go confront them. I wanted to have a heart to heart talk and tell them they would still be my parents no matter what because they raised me even if they weren't my biological parents. I wanted to let them know I had plans on getting Alexis out and to leave the Shadow Pack with her.
