Chapter 119

Alex’s POV

After we had taken Anton from that hospital, I knew things had to change. We couldn’t stay in Stowe anymore. Richard and Alpha Kane had far too many resources, and far too many eyes watching for us. If I didn’t find a solution, it was only a matter of time before they found us again and we might not be lucky next time.

I had switched with Alexis and took over the wheel, Anton stirred in the back seat as we drove, still weak. He was healing but not so fast as he was meant to.

“How far are we to Greenwolf?” He asked.

“Less than an hour,” I replied.

I glanced at him through the rearview mirror as I checked on him.

He coughed slightly. “You’ll be safe there in Greenwolf. At least for a while.”

The Greenwolf pack was neutral territory, strong enough to fend off any potential threats, and not aligned with Kane or my father. It was probably the safest option we had at the moment, and it would give us time to regroup and figure out our next steps. It was where I had gone to yea
