Alexis's POV

The Lunar Eclipse Festival was grand. The hall was decorated and it screams luxury. From the flowers to the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the lightnings. The room was filled with guests, pack members, visiting Alphas, Betas, and other high-ranking wolves, all dressed in their finest clothes. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. It was a joyous occasion, but for me, it was suffocating.

I stood by Alpha Kane’s side, my hand loosely resting in the crook of his arm with a smile on his face. He had sent a dress to my room earlier, a red gown that fit perfectly, hugging my curves and trailing behind me. The fabric was luxurious, and soft against my skin, but it felt like a cage because of my situation.
