Forty-seventh Chapter

I paced around the house, putting things together to leave for the hospital. I had no engagements with the Tetra men and I didn't want to be bored, so heading to Anna seemed like a bright idea. Actually, it was the only idea. If I didn't have an arrangement with David, it'll be with Rain. If I didn't have anything with Rain, it'll just have to be Anna. I occasionally thought about making some new friends, girl friends, but I always ended up shoving the thought to the back burner.

My purse-bag sat on the kitchen counter as I tied my hair into a bun. I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge because it's a long ride to the new hospital. Picking my bag up, I heard a knock on my door. I definitely wasn't expecting any visitors, as we had just established, I have no friends. I knew I'm my mind that it couldn't be father or son.
