Fifty-third Chapter

I stepped off the plane with a heart racing with excitement. As I made my way through the terminal, pulling my little suitcase behind me, my eyes eagerly scanned the crowd for a familiar face. Rain. While in Paris, I didn't want to take any of his calls, but walking towards the exit, he was all I wanted to see.

The automatic door slid open as I headed out of the airport. A few steps away into the cold night breeze, my eyes fell on him. He stood several feet away, leaning against his truck with his hands buried into the pockets of his black pants.
