JAYDEN'S POV

We sat in the dining for dinner. Unfortunately, Grace and Annabelle were present too.

My father sat in his seat as usual, focusing on his meal like he had no idea what he had done.

“Father,” Jordan spoke up. Unlike me, he wasn't the type to keep in his feelings. “When are they leaving?”

The women stopped chatting. They had been discussing our wedding, which was supposed to come up in a year, after our graduation.

“That was rather rude, Jordan. They are your future Lunas. You should be nice to them,” He said.

“I am not obligated to be nice to a woman you forced on me. We have our mate, who is probably heartbroken as we speak because of the marriage you forced on us!” Jordan said plainly.

“Jordan…”

“Shut up! I wasn't talking to you!” He snapped at Annabelle and she shrieked in fright.

“He is right, father. We don't want them. We want Lorraine,” I concurred. Grace looked at me like I betrayed her in the worst way possible but I didn't care about her feelings.
