In an hour plus, I was all dressed up, standing in front of the mirror to check out the beautiful black dressed I had picked out. Looking myself made me remember the times Dante would slip his hands around my waist in front of the mirror or place jewelry on my neck.

My hands went around my neck as I shut my eyes, imagining his hands on me.

“What are you doing?” Guilia cut my thoughts short as she barged into my room.

Startled, I grabbed my purse from the table.

“I was just grabbing this,” I said, and she rolled her eyes.

Her phone rang, and she dropped my phone on my table, walking out of the door. I picked it at once, checking it to see that it was still bare. There was no sign of Dante.

When I heard her footsteps approaching, I shoved the phone in my purse.

“I’m ready,” I said with a grin.

“Good, but I feel like I forgot something, but I don’t know what.”

She left the room, and I heaved a sigh, walking out. I tried not to let the thoughts of Dante get to me.
