It’s been two days since the saga between Guilia and Dante. Things had been awfully strange, but no one wanted to say a thing to me. I was in my room, reading a book Dante purchased for me, when he barged into my room.

I placed my book on the bed, and I got on my feet, walking towards him. He pulled me into a warm hug, then he gave me a light kiss on the lips.

“I have something impromptu to take care of, and I will be gone for a while,” he said, and my face became wrinkled.

“For how long?” I crossed my arms while he pulled my hands away, clutching them tightly.

“It’s for business and it will take a month or just weeks, but I promise to fill you in on it when I’m back.”

I sighed, releasing my hand from his grip.
