Good Morning

Elowen:

Guilia and I had a sad, filled night. We bawled out our eyes because of two grown men who we gave our hearts to.

Guilia yawned. “It’s morning, Elowen.”

My entire body ached because of my broken heart, which made me unwilling to get up. I wished I could fall asleep forever so that I wouldn’t face reality.

“I’m going,” she said, and then she pulled her hands away from my body with a yawn while I shut my eyes tightly.

I expected her to leave quietly, but she screamed, causing me to jerk up to see Dante sitting on the couch in my room with a drink in his hands.

“Morning ladies,” he uncrossed his legs, sipping from his glass.

Guilia sighed, standing up from the bed.

“Dad, what are you doing?” She frowned at him, and he stood up, closing the space between them.

“Heard that my precious daughter celebrated my absence, so why not ruin that for her?” He touched her nose with the tip of his finger with a smile on his lips.
