When I saw the message, my mind thought of a lot of things. I wanted to know what the package was about and what exactly was inside it.

“I’m sorry for that,” Dante said, kissing my cheek, and then I handed his phone to him, staring into his eyes.

“Package acquired? What package, Dante? What is going on?” I asked, and he gaped without a word.

He definitely had something.

“I thought as much,” I said, attempting to leave, but then he grabbed my hand.

“It is a business deal and it shouldn’t bother you.” He said, and I scoffed.

“Dante, this get away was supposed to be us, but suddenly there are packages and phone calls. What next?” I asked, and he sighed.

I was truly tired, and I needed sleep at least. All this drama wasn’t helping me, and I couldn’t see the difference between this and being at home with his entire family.
