Slapped and Engaged

Dante needed to count his days lucky, because I had thought of the best way to punish him for what he did, but I found none, because I wasn’t a sex fanatic so I couldn’t run off to have an affair with a man. The only man he trusted me with was Ralph, and I didn’t want him to lose his head yet.

It had been three days since he abandoned me and yet I hadn’t gotten a single call or text from him. Each time I closed my eyes, I imagined him with another woman. The lady in the shadows was my culprit and she should be thankful I didn’t see her face because she would be sorry.

I had a bath this morning, and then I went downstairs to have breakfast alone, but after I took a couple of bites, I was fed up, causing me to push away the plate.
