I couldn’t believe Elowen would think that of me. I wasn’t in any way pure, and I didn’t expect her to be. There was something about her that drew me to her that night and it made me want her, but now I can’t help but think it was a mistake.

“Daddy, I know you are angry, but I think we need to talk,” Guilia said, and I looked to see her standing by the door with her face drawn down.

“I think it’s best if we leave whatever for later,” I said, but she wouldn’t leave.

“Can I at least come in?” She asked, and I sighed.

She walked in and sat down on the bed. Then she stared at me while I paced around the room.
