Guilia's Troubles

I knew I had to apologize to Lee for being an asshole but for a while I hadn’t seen her, and wandering the halls of the mansion wouldn’t help because it was too large, plus Dante would never allow me to go to the servant quarters.

When I woke up, I expected a lonely day, but then I heard a familiar voice below my window. I dashed towards it, then peered through the window to see Guilia on the phone. She always went for a run in the morning, but it did not seem to be going well this time.

“Do you even love me?” she yelled into the phone, sobbing.

I felt a wave of sadness because I had been in her shoes; questioning and doubting the person you love has never been a pleasant experience. Also, we both grew up without mothers, but she was fortunate to have a father who adored her, but I could not tell how close they were in their relationships.

“Look, I do not care what or who you think you are; if you want to end this, I would be delighted to do so. Who needs you, anyway?”
