As soon as Dante and Adjo struck the deal, he lifted me on his shoulders and walked out of the hotel. Then he tossed me into his car while the driver sped up. During the ride home, he said nothing to me, and it made me worried about what he would do to me. But as soon as the car came to a halt, he got down without saying a word.
