Chapter 12 ~ Clueless

“I don’t have time for games Ethan,” Rose said bitterly.

“You’ve been away from home for four days, you’ve been ignoring my calls and now you’ve shown up to pack and just leave?”

“Does it surprise you?”

“Why are you so moody lately?” Ethan accused and it only made Rose angrier.

‘Has he been so blind that he doesn't even see how much I've been hurt or is it that my feelings don't matter?’

It was true that Rose tried to be as less a burden to Ethan as she could. When she wasn't feeling well, when she was anxious, or needed to share great news with him. She brushed it off because she didn't want to do anything that would make him angry when all she wanted was to win his heart.

Having held onto such needs for so long must have made Ethan think she just didn't care about such things but deep down it was eating her up.

But she was done! And explaining what he had done wrong wasn't on her plans, so she glared at him like he was an obstacle in her way,
