Chapter 13 ~ Drunk

“I'm fine Natalie! Stop calling me every five minutes like I'm a toddler!” Rose complained on the phone.

“I'm just checking in, to see if you miss me! What's wrong with that?” Natalie protested but Rose saw right through her.

“Bye, Natalie. I have an exhibition to prepare for!” Rose cut the line and went back to designing the necklace she had been working on for some time now.

A week had passed since Rose took her bags from Ethan's house and she hadn't heard from him since then. Her heart was still bleeding but she kept herself busy with work so she wouldn't think too much about it.
