Chapter 17 ~ Favours another

Ethan was angry. He left without saying another word to Rose and drove off. His heart clenched and his Jaw ticked at Rose's response.

What plans? Were they plans with Mason?

How could she reject his date invitation like that? She used light up and jump at every little affection he showed her.

But now all she ever did was look at him coldly. Like she didn't want him in her life and that bothered him. Ethan didn't know what to call what he was feeling but he didn't like it.

Gripping the steering wheel so tightly, he speeded through the traffic.

“Why am I even angry?” He mumbled under his breath not understanding what was making him so bothered.

His phone vibrated making him clench his Jaw as he swiped right to pick up. "What!"

"I'm sorry to bother you Sir, but your grandfather is requesting for you and Madam."

"She's busy tell him I'll come alone. I'm almost there anyway!" He responded and cut the line.
