Chapter 25 ~ Vistor

“What?” Rose's face paled as she wondered if he caught on.

“Why were you vomiting just now?” Ethan asked.

“Because I'm still not feeling well. Don't assume nonsense!” She said as she passed him and grabbed the plate, she wanted to walk out when Ethan stopped her,

He grabbed her elbow and made her turn to face him,

“Just tell me what you want to eat, and I'll have them bring it here. You should be resting” His voice was calm as if he hadn't just pierced her heart a few minutes ago.

Rose didn't know what she wanted to eat and sure as hell didn't want to be near Ethan. Her pregnancy hormones were skyrocketing and she couldn't keep her calm self in front of him.

“It's okay. I'd like to take a walk anyway. I'm tired of just sitting.” Rose said.

Ethan watched her darkened mood and wondered if she was in so much pain, he nodded and said, “Fine, but I'll come down with you.”

Rose didn't interject or agree, she just walked out and Ethan followed her.

Alfred and Amanda were so shocked to see
