Chapter 18 ~ Unpleasant visit

“The exhibition for my sister-in-law of course!” Jane said with excitement.

Ever since they were young, Ethan and Mason had always competed and never met eye to eye. So Jane, knew it would be a miracle for him not to care about the sitting arrangement because of how the media would take it. After all, the marriage was still a secret to the public.

But if it was revealed later, it would be a big hit on Ethan and his grandfather wouldn't let him off the hook! It was a perfect plan to turn Rose against Ethan and Jane felt Victorious already!

She was trying to read Ethan's expression and see if her plan was working but she got nothing. Ethan was hard to read because his face looked grumpy all the time.

'So she got him the seat meant for me? She even went to dinner with him? What kind of audacity is this?!’ Ethan's jaw clenched and his hand balled into a fist.

He didn’t expect that Rose would give away the seat he rejected so quickly. He was actually waiting for her to beg him to attend.
