Lorenzo's POV

I couldn't phantom what had happened. I was sure I heard fighting sounds and noises as blades clashed. The frightened look on Vera's face also affirmed that she heard the same.

I looked closely at Alpha Kai's and Teagan's face. There was no hostility in their eyes but they were obviously the one that were fighting.

“Did anyone break in?” I asked despite being sure there was no case of break in.

“Break-in? You know that's not possible. I was the one that was checking if Teagan had the wherewithal of being an Alpha and I wasn't disappointed,” Alpha Kai replied to me, breathing heavily.

There was a trace of blood on Teagan which he quickly wiped off as I fixed my eyes on him.

Vera leaned closer to me and whispered.

“This is more than what they think. It's a bad omen for a son to raise arms against his father.” She looked into my eyes and shook her head after her whispers.
