Lorenzo's POV

As the fireball got closer, a sudden fear rose in my chest and I also became frozen, not knowing what to do. My leg hit Alpha Kai's throne, as if it was swung by some unseen forces, throwing Alpha Kai away before the ball destroyed the throne, turning it to ashes.

I got up and grabbed Alpha Kai who was still finding it hard to get on his feet. It was pathetic, seeing a strong Alpha like him struggling to stand.

The crowds scattered in all directions, running helter skelter. Some armed men in their wolves form ran towards me and Alpha Kai.

Pulling Alpha Kai to his feet, I dragged him along into the palace. The men were surely coming after him and the only thing I could do now, was to run to safety and hide.

"We have to get you to safety!" I yelled at Alpha Kai as he resisted me. It seemed like he wanted to stay and fight the attackers which was impossible in his present state.
