Chapter Six: She's gone!!!

I opened my drawer and brought out the knife I had kept there safely for any emergency as I placed the tip on my arm, trying the acquire the guts I needed within me to tear myself but I really needed to do it, I need to at least make it look like I battled with the people who abducted me that way people would believe I was kidnapped.

After a while of breathing in and breathing out heavily I finally summoned up the courage and tore my skin with the knife while I tried to hold me the pain that came with it.

I rushed to my bed and made sure it seemed like a blood bathe situation before pouring droplets everyday and the last one lead to the doorway then I tore one of my dress and tied my wound tightly before following the rope down.

After what felt like eternity I was finally out of the palace as I found a quick escape route and left the palace territory for good.

I didn't bother turning around to check if I was being as I held my bleeding hand and ran as far as my leg could take me but the further ing it the more dizzy I felt…i must have lost so much blood to feel this way, I was about losing hope when I saw how far I had gotten away from the palace and also how close I was to the human boundaries, this could be my only opportunity to enter the human realm. I wouldn't give up just yet as I continued to race to my heart destination… despite his tired and frustrated I was I still ran with a wide smile.

This could be my chance to finally be a new person and to finally leave a new life… after all I never really liked the life I was born into and I had already passed through so much torture this was my only chance to start afresh.

The closer I got to the boundary the more weaker I was and just as I stepped one foot into the human realm I lost consciousness as everything around me went blank.

Alpha Avalor continued to pace back and forth awaiting Melissa buy she never came down the stairs which she had gone up to almost an hour again.

“Shouldnt we go check on her?” he asked Alpha Russel.

“I don't think we should disturb her yet, she must be packing up some of her most precious things as you know she might also be finding it hard to leave this place.”Alpha Russel said to Alpha Avalor who still felt very unease about everything…he was suddenly losing her scent as it slowly became faint and at the same time the burn he felt when she was around him was also vanishing.

Just then Lucas walked in with Aria as he had let earlier without giving his destination to his father,

“Melissa hasn't come down yet?” Lucas questioned but all Alpha Avalor did was scoff in response.

“As you can see she isn't down yet.” his father replied and then Lucas took his seat with a grin and a fixed stare on Alpha Avalor which meant he also had a plan down his sleeve.

After the Alpha words Alpha Avalor felt even more unease as he stared up Theo stares and tried to connect his inner Wolf with that of Melissa but it didn't even reach and then suddenly her scent vanished like she wasn't in existence, Alpha Avalor stood up almost immediately making everyone stare at him in fright.

“Whats wrong Alpha Avalor?” Alpha Russel asked.

“Something is wrong!! I lost connection with Melissa!!” he yelled and without permission rushed up the stairs as everyone followed.

“Where is Melissa room!!” he yelled at the guards who pointed to the door at the far end.

“Melissa!!!!!” Alpha Avalor yelled as he ran towards the door, he tried continuously to open the door but it was locked as he became impatient to wait or require key and with all his strength broke the door down.

To his surprise everywhere was stained with blood and it all lead to the door way and a knife was lying on the floor soaked with blood.

“Oh goddess! What had happen here?”Alpha Russel murmured while even Lucas stared around in shock…how could someone loss this much or if possible how could she have a fight with someone and no one even noticed.

“Where could she be?” Lucas asked staring around for any clue but Alpha Avalor silence was what scared them the most.

“She is gone!!!!! I felt her scent vanishing and I couldn't make any move!!” Alpha Avalor yelled while throwing things around making Aria yell in fright to how aggressive he became in such a swift period of them.

“Alpha Avalor calm down we would find her!” Lucas yelled making matters even worst for both of them.

“Yes, who ever did this must have been struggling to take her as she clearly fought with this person despite bleeding, so they won't have gone far.” Alpha Russell added but all they could hear in response was Alpha Avalor loud breath like he was trying to cool the fire igniting within him.

“You all are pretending.” Alpha Avalor finally spoke as genslowly turned around to face Lucas who was still clueless to what he meant.

“What do you mean pretending?” Lucas asked in confusion.

“You left just immediately she went up to get some important things…you just couldn't accept that she belonged to me now!!” Alpha Avalor yelled still holding in his anger as Aria noticed and stepped back.

“I didn't follow her anywhere…i went out to smoke and came back in when I noticed injad been out there for long.” Lucas said but Alpha Avalor just couldn't believe anything Lucas said.

“Bring Melissa…back to me or you would regret ever thinking of abducting her.” he whispered to Lucas who scoffed.

“Why would I abduct her? Do your worst!!!”
