I stood in the same position for a while before slowly turning around.

“Hi.” I nervously replied while waving my hands slowly.

“You must have been really hungry to eat this much junk food.” The handsome starnger said with a smirk as I turned around to stare at the counter that was behind me and it was filled with nylons of the different things I had eaten.

“I am really sorry I shouldn’t have taken things without your permission.”I said to him with an awkward smile still plastered on my face but instead of staring back at me his eyes and attention on my dress.

“You look beautiful in that sleek dress.” The stranger said with his weird but beautiful smile.

I stared down at myself and noticed I was a bit too dressed and tried covering my cleavage a bit more.

“Th..tha…thank you.” I stuttered.

“My name is Richard since you never bothered asking.” The stranger whose name I now knew as Richard said bringing his hands out for an handshake but I hesitated staring at him weirdly.

“Okay, you seem to still be a bit nervous or frightened around me but I don’t think that should stop you from telling me your name and how you ended up bleeding on the sideway?” Richard said moving closer to me while I moved backward.

“I want to leave.” I whispered innocently like I was frightened as that was the easiest way to get into any human heart.

“Haaaa!!” Richard exclaimed making me a bit frightened.

“You want to leave? In your current condition and with you being stranded!” He added making me chuckle, he must really think I am helpless.

“I would find my way…I just can’t stay here.” I said to him with a sad expression.

“Why can’t you stay here? This house also belongs to you and you won’t be discomforting me in anyway because I want you to be here.” Richard said to me but my eyes where directly on the door as I was ready to race out but just silently waited for the right moment.

“Do you plan on running away because I told you not to leave and you think I am kidnapper or something?” He asked making me open my mouth widely in astonishment as I felt like he could read my mind widely.

“How?” I murmured.

“Your face tells it all, so now that you know it would be bad idea to run away in a place you aren’t famous with can I finally know your name and how you ended up in that critical condition I found you in?” Richard asked with a side as he moved close to me and took a seat tapping the seat beside him for me to also sit.

“Please take a seat and talk to me..I can’t harm you and we aren’t the only ones in the building so tell me everything and trust me this once.” Richard added as I finally relaxed and took a seat beside him while still adjusting my dress, what even made me whee this dress?

“Fine, since you are really curious to know what exactly happened to me, I would tell it to you.” I said still trying to delay time as I thought of how to start and remembered, he was a human which clearly means he knows nothing about the werewolf realm and telling him my story would be a waste of time as he won’t understand anything.

“I saw the photo of you and your dad so you can’t lie to me.” Richard added making me immediately change the story I had started coming up with in my mind.

“Yes he is my father and unfortunately he is dead.” I began while trying very hard to formulate tears in my eyes, as that was te only way he would even try to believe me.

“Where are you coming from, what happened to …I really want to know how you lost so much blood?” Richard said with a worried look.

“Some men tried to rape me and I fought them and from that encounter one of the men tore my hand while I tried escaping but I was able to successfully escape their wrath.” I murmured in a tone he would be able to hear while I slowly weeped and not because I was faking it or because I had to but because I started remembering what Lucas did to me.

“You don’t have to cry, if you don’t want to talk about it just stop.. I now understand all what you have passed through and won’t want to trigger any bad memories you have of the past.” Richard said placing a comforting hand on my shoulder as I nodded.

“I went through more than torture and whenever I remember I just can’t help but weep in agony, I don’t want to go back to my past but at the same time I don’t want to owe my life to anyone just because I am stranded.” I said to him making him chuckle as he continued to pat my shoulder.

“You don’t owe me a thing, and I won’t be asking you to pay me back for anything because i am ready to help in anyway I can.” Richard said as I smiled back at him very much grateful for the kind of person the moon goddess brought to me.

“Thank you so much Richard but I won’t want to do anything for free for me.” I said when am idea came to me.

“I am well educated and you seem like a CEO of a big company so why don’t you employ me to work for you that way I won’t feel so burden with the fact that you do everything for me all for free.” I said to him as he smiled weakly.

“You don’t have to work but since you want it that way fine… but you must promise to stay with me.”
