Chapter Nine: Find Melissa

“Alpha, it has now completed a week since you demanded for Melissa from the blue moon pack.” Alpha Avalor beta reminded him as he stood at the window of his study room with wicked grin.

“Those bastards!! I knew they couldn’t provide Melissa, they just gave her more chance to run away.” Alpha Avalor said as he slammed things around in his study room.

“Get the car ready, we are paying the blue moon pack a visit!!” He ordered while his beta ran out almost immediately in fright, informing the soldiers what the king said.

Immediately the car was ready, Alpha Avalor wasted no time in leaving the palace as he was more than prepared to deal with Alpha Russel and Lucas who thought they could act smart with him.

He made sure to arrive in a grand style so the guards could inform Lucas and his father of his arrival as he wasn’t ready to listen to any of their pleas he lost his Luna and it’s all their fault.

He marched into the palace with his guards as the maids and everyone bowed as he walked straight to the alpha’s meeting hall.

As he stepped in, Alpha Russel and Lucas were already both in a bowing position…..he took his seat immediately in one of the elders chair, not caring if he was just a guess to the palace.

“Alpha Avalor.” Alpha Russel was about to begin his greetings but Alpha Avalor raised his hand up immediately, telling him to stop.

“Bring Melissa out now, I need to leave with her!!” He exclaimed.

“Alpha we would find…..” with a loud bang from Alpha Avalor slamming his hand on the table, Alpha Russel had to stop immediately.

“Bring her out!!!!!” He yelled, making Lucas shake in fright.

“We don’t have her yet.” Lucas summoned up the courage to speak.

“Shut up Lucas…this between me and your father, let the men talk and you keep shut!!” He shunned Lucas who felt embarrassed immediately, the black moon council elders marched in with a firm look.

“Alpha Avalor you can’t just walk in here and cause chaos demanding for a woman that doesn’t belong to you!” They said to Alpha Avalor who chuckled not standing from one of the elders seat as the elder stood still in his position, his hand folded as he stared at Avalor.

“Do you expect me to stand up?” Alpha Avalor asked the elder who was standing.

“Yes.” The elder replied while Alpha Russel just stood still unable to do or say anything.

“I can’t….the only reason I would stand up from here for you to seat means I would seat on the throne of your Alpha because I won’t seat anywhere else.” Alpha Avalor replied, the elder looked yup at Alpha Russel who signaled the elder to find another place to seat.

“I am sorry.” The elder stuttered before walking away.

“Now what were you elders saying earlier?” Alpha Avalor said, this time very much ready to blast the elders with his words.

“We said…” Alpha Avalor interrupted immediately.

“I can’t just barge in here demanding for a woman that isn’t mine .” Alpha Avalor completed the sentence with a smirk as he stood up from the seat slowly walking up to alpha Russel but stopped turning around to the elders who shivered at his stare.

“How dare you question me!!!! Do you want this palace to crumble!” He yelled.

“No Alpha, no!!” Alpha Russel yelled loudly making the stare at him in shock, how could sound so scared of someone just the same age with Lucas? They thought.

Avalor smirk walking down to the middle of the hall.

“You lied Alpha Russel, we had an agreement and you couldn’t keep to yours!!” Avalor yelled.

“I am sorry Alpha.” Lucas pleaded for the first time making Alpha Avalor smirk even wider.

He stepped up to the throne and walked up to Lucas, as it seemed he was few inches taller than Lucas he placed his hand on Lucas head, slapping it playful while Lucas tries to hold in his anger.

“You would receive the most miserable torture of your life for making her life that miserable.” He said loud enough for Alpha Russel and the elders to hear.

“Get ready for the war I have in mind for this city.” Alpha Avalor said before walking down.

“Please forgive us, we would find her…we are still searching for her but even the guards can’t sniff her scent out.” Alpha Russel said.

“Even I can’t feel her presence or scent her blood because you are hiding her somewhere I can’t sniff her.” Alpha Avalor said about to walk away when all the elders rushed to his front, and slowly fall to their knees with their heads bowed in respect.

“Please don’t walk out of our presence with such resent…we know what half your army can do to this city and we won’t dare wait to see what would happen.” The elders pleaded.

“As much as I would love to settle this quietly, I need Melissa than any of you could even understand.” Alpha Avalor said calmly.

“Before nightfall if I don’t see Melissa in my doorstep, I am sorry to say but you would have to prepare your armies for a war they haven’t witnessed for centuries.” Alpha Avalor gave his final words before stomping out.

Alpha Russel fell to the ground as Lucas felt like killing Avalor but knew it wouldn’t be possible as it seemed impossible to frighten him.

“Why would step on the tail of a lion if you knew very much that you were just a mere monkey.”the elders said to Lucas who frowned pacing around the hall.

“I never knew Alpha Avalor was her second chance mate, she belonged to me first!” Lucas said.

“Shut up!! Everything I have worked so hard for is suddenly going down the drain.” Alpha Russel stood up grabbing Lucas by his collar.

“Find Melissa, or you lose everything entitled to you.” The king whispered as Lucas stared in shock.
