MATE!!!

Alpha Avalor returned to the palace and his beta immediately tells him of the heated meeting awaiting him in the meeting room as the council member has a lot of questions for him.

“They are very serious about it.” His beta added as he took off his coat and stomped towards the meeting hall.

“You all wanted to see me?” Avalor questioned taking a seat on the throne awaiting their reply as they summoned up the courage within them and nodded affirmative.

“You told us of the grand arrival of your Luna chosen for you by the moon goddess but since then we haven’t heard any news of any woman gracing this palace.” One of his council elders said before taking a seat, he nodded slowly thinking of the appropriate thing to tell the elders.

“Yes I did say that, and truly I have a mate who is from a respected pack.” He began taking his words slowly.

“Then where is she?” Another elder asked.

“Currently missing.”Alpha Avalor blunted out the truth.

“Missing!!!”

“You shouldn't say those words for its an abomination to anyone.” the elders said in unison as Alpha Avalor nodded not surprised at their words as he knew it wasn't a good thing fit that Alpha Luna to go missing after being marked.

“And what have you been doing to bring her?” they questioned.

“Finding her…actually the people who are responsible for everything are searching kindly for her.” he replied as all the elders stared within again in shock.

“You entrusted the safety of the future Queen in the hands of a mere person, do you know the consequences for not finding your mate?” they questioned Avalor who groaned in frustration.

“I know okay… I might lose my position as alpha but believe me when I say I am searching earnestly for her.” he exclaimed while still trying to keep calm to anyways they would say next.

“George would be made the Alpha if you don't find your Luna quickly.” the elders have their final decision before walking out.

Alpha Avalor tighter his hands in a punch as he stared at the plain sight recalling the last moment he had with Melissa before she ran away.

She looked very scared and was nervously shaking as he recalled how shaky her voice was making her even more angry with himself, how couldn’t he even noticed his depressed and scared she was? If only he had noticed how much suffering she was passing through….then all this things wouldn’t happen.

Avalor really wanted to blame Melissa for running away but he was more than aware of the suffering she was passing through, the night of their intimacy his eyes ran through her body and he saw marks of flogging on her body and she weeped in her sleep pleading for freedom, he couldn’t believe what he saw but due to his stupid ignorance he waved it off and now she is gone and his throne and her safety is at stake.

“Beta Brian!!!” Avalor yelled as the beta rushed in breathing heavily.

“Alpha.” He replied bowing as he was scared of the tone the alpha called him with as it was now very obvious that the Alpha was more than angry and he was not to be messed with in such position.

“Find the best hunter and investigators, the force… anyone, just make sure they find Melissa out for me as soon as possible!!!” He exclaimed as the beta shivered.

“Yes Alpha.” He replied before rushing off.

“Melissa please be safe wherever you are, I need to find you in one piece.” Alpha Avalor pleaded silently with the moon goddess as he continued to think of how else he could sniff Melissa out, he wondered how she was able to escape without a trace?

He stood from the throne weakly as his sickly was suddenly taking a toll on him as he walked away to his chambers.

It was a full moon again which meant another painful night for him engraved with nightmares, he sat on his bed weakly staring at the sky fro the window.

“Melissa, please don’t do this and come back to me, you are not just the only reason I stay on the throne but the only way my sickness heals up quickly.” Avalor pleaded in frustration like Melissa would possibly hear him.

When he remembered how weak he was when he met Melissa in the forest when he saved her life,

Alpha Avalor remembered how he had raced out of the palace in rage and weakness due to his sickness and ran directly for the forest as he weakly layed on the sorting grass to relieve himself of the pain he felt.

Just then he heard some wolves and a female wolf amoungst them and surprisingly she was helplessly struggling from their grip,

He stood up staring at them trying to abuse the female wolf when he noticed she was a bypassed which meant he didn’t need to interfere, he turned around to leave when his inner wolf suddenly spranged up in joy from with in,a feeling he had been dying to feel. But he still decides to wave it off and leave the scene but his wolf made the announcement to him.

“MATE!!” His inner wolf repeated as he turned towards the female wolf and his urge suddenly increased, at this state even if he wanted to leave he won’t be able to do that as he was now in sync with her.

He couldn’t watch the wolves try to molest his mate when he slowly paced up to them putting them in their right places as she just stared at him innocently, are eyes showing how drenched she was, he walked up to her as his urge got even stronger and when felt like she would disapprove of him she slowly placed his hand on her chest.
