Fairytale.

Richard immediately accepted my offer and not too long told me he had a vacant position for me in his company which I was more than grateful to accept as this would be a good way for me to keep busy while I forget my life as a werewolf back in the pack.

But my pregnancy seemed to be saying otherwise as I started having morning sickness which Richard began to notice but I still couldn’t tell him I was pregnant and from the looks of it the doctor never informed Richard about it which I was grateful for.

After noticing that Richard wasnt the kind to think about having breakfast at home since he was a rich bachelor, I decide to take up the job and start cooking breakfast…he tried stopping though I hadn’t even completed a week, I still felt like it was must I did that for him.

“Sit, let’s have breakfast.” I said to him while I arranged the table accordingly.

“You know, you don’t always have to prepare breakfast for me like it’s an obligation I can do it myself.” Richard said to me before having his seat.

“I have never seen you cooked since I came here which clearly means you can’t cook.”I replied before joining him on the table, he stared at the table in awe before dishing the quantity he wanted.

“You such a good cook, I am sure lots of women from where you came from would envy your cutlery skills.” Richard complimented me as I tried my best not to blush.

“Do not worry I would always cook this great dishes for you and no, no one even know I exist not talk less of knowing I can cook so well.” I said avoiding his gaze as I slowly ate my food.

“You are a nobody at home, but you look too pretty for that.” He said, why was he so bent on making me smile even though I really didn’t want to.

“Am I pretty??” I whispered to myself with a chuckle.

“You are, you look like a princess from a fairytale…with your pale skin and glowing hair, everything just screams perfection.” Richard replied but all I did was chuckle.

“I don’t think I look like that, but I still accept your compliments and find it amusing.” I said to him and looked down at my dish noticing I hadn’t eaten anything from it, I placed the first spoonful in my mouth.

“I didn’t even know I could cook this well.” I said to him as he chuckled.

“I was right when I said you are good at everything.” Richard said, I tried to place another spoonful in my mouth but I suddenly felt like puking. Oh no not the pregnancy trying to make Richard find out.

“Are you alright? You look really pale.” Richard said but I couldn’t reply because I felt like even a single word from me and I would be puking directly on his face.

I was about to continue eating when I felt the puke coming, I rushed up immediately and directly ran to the bathroom and poured everything I had eaten.

As I rushed to the bathroom and emptied my stomach, Richard followed me, concerned for my well-being. He stood by my side, offering support and assistance as I dealt with the effects of morning sickness. His presence was comforting, but it also made me anxious about how I would explain my pregnancy to him.

Once I had composed myself and we stepped out of the bathroom, Richard looked at me with a mix of worry and confusion. He asked me how I could be pregnant when the doctor hadn't informed him. I stood there, speechless, unsure of what to say.

My mind raced, searching for the right words to explain the situation. I took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to speak. "Richard, I...I didn't have a chance to tell you. I just found out myself," I began, my voice trembling slightly.

“Did those men you said attacked you rape you?” Richard as I chuckled within me.

“I am sort of in a relationship with someone before I left and I am carrying his child now unfortunately, but you don’t have to worry about it.. I don’t plan on having it.” I said to him with a relaxed look but deep within me I was trembling he stared at me for a while like he was still processing all I just said.

“You plan on aborting the baby?” He asked with a shocked expression, as deep within me I was planning on aborting it but I think this would the only way to avoid being thrown out of the house.

“Y….es” I stuttered.

“Why would you do that? Why would you think of killing an innocent child just because you don’t love the father?” He asked escorting me back to the sitting room.

“I just don’t have a choice.”

“Don’t ever think about doing such Melissa, don’t even dare try to abort the child because you don’t want it…how would you feel doing such, don’t you know this child that’s growing in your womb it’s a part of your body.” I still couldn’t believe my ears, Richard wanted me to keep the baby without even complaining about it.

I couldn't believe Richard's reaction. He was supportive and understanding, urging me not to consider abortion and emphasizing the importance of the life growing inside me. I was overwhelmed with gratitude that he didn't chase me out or condemn me for my situation.

"Richard, I...thank you," I said, my voice filled with sincerity. "I didn't expect you to be so accepting and compassionate. I was scared to tell you, but your reaction has given me hope."

He smiled gently, his eyes reflecting genuine care. "Melissa, you're not alone in this. We may not have planned for this, but that doesn't mean we can't embrace it. This baby is a part of you, and it deserves a chance at life."
