Kit’s POV Tears poured now from my eyes, as my slap across Dom’s face awakens him from his craze, and he lets go of my head, taking a step back from me, with the look of horror in his eyes. “I’m so sorry, Kit. Dom’s POV Sitting in my vehicle parked in front of my family’s estate, I knew what I had to do if I was going to make Kit mine. The thought of having to talk to my father and seek his permission sickened me, because Kit was my fated mate. Kit’s POV Hours ticked by as I watched the clock, nervous if or when Dom would come back. In my heart I knew that he would do everything in his power to be with me, but I honestly didn’t know if it would be enough to stand up to his ruthless father. My worries must have gotten the best of me, because for most of the day I have spent in the bathroom, not able to keep anything down. The thought of having food poisoning from the restaurant had passed, as it now became more of a nausea to just the smell of food.
