Chapter 24

Dom’s POV

Sitting in my vehicle parked in front of my family’s estate, I knew what I had to do if I was going to make Kit mine. The thought of having to talk to my father and seek his permission sickened me, because Kit was my fated mate. The Moon Goddess had chosen her for me, and by the old laws there should be no questioning our union, but by the new laws of my father, he was the one that made the ultimate decision.

Finding the courage within me, I finally get out of my vehicle and head straight inside the house to my father’s office where I knew he would be this time of the day. But as I opened the door to my father’s office, I froze when I realized that he was not alone, but in the middle of a meeting.

Not wanting to anger him before I spoke with him, I decided to back step out of his office until the meeting was over. As I begin to close the door, my father calls out to me, “Domonic perfect timing.”
