55. You Like Me?

Marco looked at Caterina for a moment, then looked back at Rossie and helped his sister to get up. With so many bruises and several wounds on Rossie's body, the girl cornered Caterina even more. However, seeing Marco's eyes that had no anger in them, Caterina was reluctant to say anything else. She was silent and did not deny what Rossie said.

"Enough. Rossie, we have to go home.” Marco supported his younger brother's body. Even in his weak condition, Rossie could still glare and grin sarcastically at Caterina.

Even though he didn't believe Rossie, he just wanted to calm his sister down. He asked Caterina to go back to her room to rest, while he took Rossie home to the mansion for treatment.

"The gun is already in your hands, but why not use it to kill that bastard woman?" asked Rossie when she was taken into the car.

On the way home, Marco didn't talk to Rossie at all. He knew his sister was in pain, so he didn't want to blame her too much. Although on the other hand he was quite happy that Caterina was fine, he was also still worried about his sister.

"Marco, you saw, she almost killed me if you didn't come," said Rossie. She blew at the bruise on her left wrist caused by Caterina.

"Who will guarantee that the woman will not kill you after her fighting skills are so great? I told you this was just a trap. Kate must also be pretending to be nice and pretending to be weak so you will sympathize. Then, when you are careless, she will kill you. That's part of Leonardo's plan!”

“Enough, Rossie. So, do you think your actions were right? You're acting stupid. You think you can win against Kate alone?” Marco asked without turning around.

Rossie suddenly fell silent. She was annoyed because Marco blamed her instead of helping her. Even though it was clear that she hated Caterina, Marco didn't understand her feelings. This makes Rossie hate Caterina even more.

Marco stopped his car at the side of the road. He caught his breath, annoyed because Rossie was really annoying and didn't believe in his plan.

"Okay. "I'll give you two weeks," said Rossie lightly.

Marco just took a deep breath, then started his car again to get there quickly. Upon arrival at the mansion, he helped Rossie treat the wounds and bruises on her body, then asked his sister to rest.

"You're going back to see Kate?"

This question suddenly made Marco stop in his tracks.

"No." He answered carelessly, without turning around, then continued walking from Rossie's room. Rossie lay down, enjoying the pain that spread throughout her body. Occasionally she cursed and cursed Caterina for attacking her.

Marco stopped the car in front of the headquarters, then put his hands in his trouser pockets before opening the main door. He suddenly stopped because he was unsure whether to meet Caterina now or later. He came to headquarters because he wanted to confirm Caterina's condition. "You're not angry?"

The atmosphere became silent for a few moments. Marco lightened the mood by praising Caterina's abilities. He said Caterina would probably defeat all of Leonardo's men because of her abilities.

“It seems that you have mastered many techniques to paralyze opponents. You could have won against Leo without my help," said Marco.

Caterina smiled broadly, and then she suddenly remembered what Rossie had said. She wasn't sure whether she should confirm it directly to Marco or not. The woman thought about what might happen if she asked, but if not... she would be very curious.

“There was something else that made Rossie attack me. She says I took all her happiness, including yours. Rossie said that you like me. Is it true?”
