GAIA

I walked up to him at the door, taking in his appearance. He had on a three piece dark blue suit, with some strands of hair falling over his face and the heel of his shoes clicking against the tile.

I had noticed that I wasn't the only one affected by his presence. The guests around had stopped and turned around to look at him, obviously wondering what he came to do here.

“Is this the party?”

Was he back to being an asshole?

“Truth is the invitations were sent out a bit too early but it's all good. We can start the party early.”

He scoffed and put his hands in his pockets, looking around the house like it irritated him.

“So this is your house.”

“Is there something wrong with it?”

My eyes fell to the door, thinking it was Javon who was walking in. It wasnt.

“Is there? I was just stating a fact. Is he always behind you?” He asked, pointing at Evan.

I didn't even know Evan was behind me.

“It’s his job, isn't it?”

I can't deal with this right now.

“The maids will attend to you
