Confession

The blue frock fit perfectly to my curves and the little makeup that I put on made me look confident. For some reason, I stopped feeling like a plain Jane. With or without makeup, I began loving myself as I realized I was not abandoned because my looks didn’t please my family. I understood I was only being hard on myself. What’s more, I got a royal look from my mother and a man to love me and look at me like I’m the most beautiful person in the whole world.

I looked at myself in the mirror after I wore the necklace Hayden gifted me. He wanted me to look grand as I decided to attend the gathering that his father mentioned. His father was right. Hayden didn’t want to leave me and go to the party. He wanted to stay with me so I decided to accompany him. I had no idea what was stored for me at the party but I didn’t want Hayden to miss any of the important meetings.
