A few weeks later:
"Hey! I want to go out! I want to go out and celebrate! We just released our new album and look at us! Sitting and making dumplings here." Heli said in irritation.
"We have no other choice. The album had been released for at least a few hours now. And the world is going crazy already. It's like a time bomb out there. Let things calm a little, then we can have a drink." Steven said. Noah agreed along with him. "He's right. Mr. Albright said we could go out once things quiet down. For now, let's wait. Hailey wanted to get along too. She said she would be coming over tomorrow. We can hang out then."
Reluctantly, the others agreed.
Six hours had passed since Heathens released their new album, Soulless, with the title track, that is In LUV, featured Hailey.
Fans had been going crazy. Not just in USA, but all over the world. Things where a terrible mess in New York since fans where in a frenzy, doing this and that.
The boys wanted to celebrate, I wanted them to do too, but there was no way they were getting out. I could clear the path for them, but I wanted fans to enjoy as well.
"Man I feel so relaxed now that we have finally released it. Do you think fans will like it?" Questioned Justin. Jake was the first to reply. "I'm not sure. I hope they do.'
"Ah, that reminds me. Remember that incident with Jules? Man I got so so so scared that day!' Justin said, putting a hand to his chest to show the shock he felt.
"Of course! Is that a thing to forget? It was a life and death situation!" Replied Victor.
"Say no more. I really felt like I died that day. I could feel my soul leaving my body. And then that-" Jules stopped in mid sentence as if something was bothering him. "And then that-"
He stammered yet. I knew what was bothering him, but I wanted to hear him say it out loud.
"And then that what Jules?" Noah asked.
"That... girl."
"Ah that girl? The one who said you that you will be okay? Who is she by the way? Have you ever seen her before? Is she your dream girl?" Justin asked, more like teased.
"Cut the crap Justin." Steven snapped. Jules, however, was very serious. 'No. She's not my dream girl. In fact I never saw her before. But something tells me we saw her in something. In...in...like...how can I explain this? Like once you see someone and never again. Like that."
"Huh? Are you saying WE saw her somewhere?" Jake asked to which Jules shrugged. "That's how I felt."
Heathens just saw me once. That was true. There was a picture of me in the news. That was the only thing they saw of me. But sadly, Jules couldn't remember.
Or should I say luckily, because if he happened to remember it, he might get scared. He might think I'm haunting him.
"We have been going through a lot lately. And everything we did, there was always a miracle. What if, I'm just saying WHAT IF, it's her? What if she's our guardian and she's looking after us?" Victor suggested. A sea of affection flooded in for him.
"Come on Vic. You're not making any sense. I think you watched too much Dramas lately.' Heli replied. Victor didn't say anything again, but it was clear he didn't believe Heli. He was sure there was a guardian angel.
A while later, he said, "I had a feeling a miracle would occur. Back in the hospital, when the doctor said he couldn't save Jules, I had a feeling there would be a miracle."
"You did, didn't you? Even I thought so. I felt like another miracle would occur like everytime. But bringing someone back from the dead, don't you think it's just impossible? It's like...messing with the deity's plan." Justin replied.
I know Justin. Even I never thought it would be possible. I never thought I would posses such powers.
"You guys are delusional, you know that right?" Noah said.
"Whatever. Don't believe us if you don't want to." Jules replied. Before things could get out of hand, Steven spoke up. "It's past time now. I'm going to go sleep. Let's celebrate once we are awake okay?"
The boys agreed and one by one they went to bed.
After tugging the six boys safely to bed, I returned to my usual spot, Victor's room where I would watch over him all night.
Once I entered, Tin looked up as if greeting me. He didn't growl in fear to wake up his master. He just glared at me as I tugged Victor's under the covers.
"Sweet dreams." I whispered and retreated to my spot on the window sill from where I watched the sky from time to time.
-------
The next morning:
"Okay, Hailey will be coming over today. Let's prepare for the celebration!" Noah announced in excitement.
The other's got to work happily. Jake busily prepared breakfast as the boys filed in. It was already late, the boys had taken a full clean nap and had woken up late. They had their breakfast anyway.
"Alright Tin, let's go for a walk." Victor announced. The members looked up at him. "Now? Don't you think it's too late for that? You even had your breakfast." Jake said.
Victor just waved it away. "It's alright. I just want some fresh air. Tin will like it too. Let's go Tin." Without furthur conversation, he left. I followed him out too.
The street's were busy as usual, but Victor still found his way around. He was like a little child when it came to roaming around. Whatever he saw in the streets, he liked it and wanted to make it his. All the unique stuff especially.
Walking on and on, Victor got a phone call. I gave him his own privacy to take it, since it was not my business. Once done, he started pocketing it back when he bumped into a girl.
They hit so hard that they almost crashed to the floor. Tin started barking.
"Sorry" The girl said. Victor apologised too and they were on their merry way again.
I could barely see the girl's face, since she had it all covered with her hairs, her head bowed down.
What a suspisious look.
I tried to read her mind, before I got interrupted. Passing by, a man talked on with his companion.
"So I spoke with Sven and guess what he told me? He said it's a murder case." I stopped in mid track as I heard the word's that fall out of the man's mouth.
I read him.
A police officer of The Department of Crime from New York police station.
"Really? So you are saying the girl was murdered? Good Lord! The person tried to make it look like a hit and run case! He did murder yeah, but he tried to make it look like it was pure coincidence. What people!" The companion said. I read him and he had the same information. The man they were talking about named Sven was a policeman too.
A police from tue Crime's unit from Minnesotapolice station.
Minnesota.
My home town.
A girl murdered.
Hit and run case.
Some how all of these seemed so familiar. By the time I knew what the whole matter was, I was already getting goosebumps. The hairs behind my neck stood on edge and my blood ran cold.
The man took out a file and handed it to his companion. Opening it, there was a case info in it and a girls bio-data. I took a few steps as I saw who the girl was. I read the name and that said it all.
The girl in the picture was me.
I was the girl. I was the girl who was murdered six months ago.
"I try to understand the world, but the world never tries to understand me."____________________________________________"Guys, I'm telling you, there is something. Something that is looking after us. Guiding us. It's that girl, I can feel it." Jules protested as his members kept insisting that there was nothing happening to them but just a leap of faith.Victor and Justin remained silent, believing in him too. It sounded absurd, yes, but they believed that there had to be an explanation to all the unexpected things happening to them.So the younger's believed it to be a guardian angel, that is ME. However Noah, being an ethist, didn't. The other's thought it as a kid's play since it was only believed by the younger one's, so they too didn't believe in it."Jules, that will be enough. You're making no sense. No sense at all.""But what IF it's true? What then?" Justin pushed on."It's not." Jake replied firmly"WHAT IF?" Asked Victor again."Then we just thank the lady for her help.
My hands trembled and the hairs behind my neck stood on edge. This wasn't possible. This couldn't be so. How in the name of the heaven's was this possible?Victor stared at the paper in disbelieve, staring at that one word scribbled on the paper. "Yes."I took a few steps backwards, ready to erase his memory if he freaked out. I had no idea how something like this could happen. I could offer no proper explanation. But all I could do was take care of the aftermath to come.I waited for Victor to shriek in horror and toss the paper away. But he however, took a deep breath, composed himself, and continued."So you are real after all. It's so good to meet you."I knew he was scared, I could smell his fear, but Victor didn't want to show it. He wanted to muster up that little courage he had left in order to prevent freaking out.I slowly sat in the bed again, facing him."It's good hearing from you too. Honestly, I didn't know something like this was possible. I didn't know you would be ab
"What's taking them so long? It's past time already. Shouldn't we be leaving now?" Steven asked as the boys waited, sitting on the couch."I have no idea. Lee Roy said he would leave last. Which means he must be waiting even more. Seriously, why are the kids wasting so much time?" Answered Jake. He looked towards the door, as if that would somehow answer his question."I don't think Lee Roy will be waiting. He isn't so free. I'm sure Mr. Albright is making him work his ass off somewhere." It's Heli this time. They all chatter on and on.Heathens were to have lunch with Lee Roy and Tomorrow. It was said that Tomorrow would leave first, then Heathens, and then Lee Roy. Once Tomorrow left, Heathens would be summoned to move. But it had been 30 minutes since the due time, and no call had arrived yet. The boys were so busy discussing it.I had nothing to do but just listen to their childish complaints as they kept talking. All except one. Victor. He sat their between Justin and Steven, sta
The walk to the under ground garage was a silent one. No one spoke, even though excitement was electrifying through them all.None of them had any idea what just happened a while ago. Victor was scared to death, but my presence brought him to ease. However I couldn't let that last long. I had to go to Minnesota police station. I needed to know who and why someone tried to kill me.One by one, the member's got into their resignated cars. Before Victor got into his car, I stopped him in his track, trying to get his attention."Victor, I'm really really very sorry to say this, but I have to go somewhere. Something very important came up and it can't be delayed. I will be back right after it's done. I won't take that long. Okay?"Victor's face turned tense as he read the paper. He shook his head desperately but I had no choice."Don't worry. I won't be a minute, I promise. I will be back as soon as I'm done. You won't even know I'm gone. And you have to be brave hyung. You have to be the
This couldn't be. This was not happening. I couldn't let this happen. Oh Victor I'm so sorry!Like a fool, I wasted one whole precious hour doing nothing but sobbing, weeping and crying. I was so lost that I had no idea what to do.Victor was kidnapped and it was all my fault. I left him alone even though he didn't want to be. And now he was kidnapped and taken to god knows were and I didn't even have a clue as to where.I couldn't even look into Victor's thoughts since he might be still unconcious. If he would be awake, I could understand the location. But until then, I'm completely useless.I flew to where the other boys were huddled. Their agency guards where swarming everywhere with the police, ready to strike if they saw anything out of the ordinary. The guards forced the boys to go back to the building but they just wouldn't budge. Lee Roy took the Tmorrow boys back to the building, back to safety.I sat down beside a crying Heli, who was trying to comfort another cry baby Just
Mr. Albright made sure that the the news wouldn't reach out to the media and stay disclosed. I made sure of that too.Victor was in his room after a few medications. But he wasn't sleeping. He was still curious about the event's that took place. I knew what he was thinking. My voice. He heard my voice.I sat there on the window sill watching him. He knew I was there but remained silent. Suddenly he said, "You were incredible today.""I was scary today, you mean. I didn't even know I could do something like that. I was scary.""You were great. Thanks for saving my life.""Thanks for staying brave."A long silence followed. Nothing hapened. Then again, "Hey?""Yeah?""Can I ask you something?""Go on.""Where did you go today?""Minnesota police station.""What for?""A murder case.""Of whom?"Another silence."It was of you wasn't it? You were murdered?""Yes.""How?""Car accident."More longer silence. Then again, "Can you tell me your name?""No. I can't.""Why not?""Because it is
"Go on your path, as if you live for today."____________________________________________"Will you be going to Indonesia again?" Asked Jake to Noah. Noah just nodded, packing what he would need.I sat there and watched as Noah packed the remaining stuffs, Jake fidgeting with his cuffs all the while. Once done, Noah said, "Okay. This is done. Let's go have breakfast."It's been at least a month or two since Victor's incident. Victor was better now, as he was supposed to be. And Justin, goodness I shouldn't even mention. That boy was over himself after he completely made sure that I'm real, thanks to my snow show. He kept insisting to the other's about my existence, only to be later silenced by Victor and Ju;es, who now already knew I was real. They said that the elders weren't ready for the truth, so we should wait. And that was what we did."Why is Noah going to Indonesia?" I wrote in the paper for Jules to see. Jules laughed lightly and replied, "You will see."I didn't know what
"Jason?" I gasped as I saw the pale white man standing just a few feet away from me.Let me tell you something about Jason. Jason was a former member of the boy band, Super Nova, and also the most loved member. The most popular member. And because he was the most popular, he was also the most hated. After all, You can;t have everyone loving you.So how did dear Jason become a grim repaer, you ask? Simple. He took his own life. When the fame got out of hand and his personal life was not so personal anymore. Jason went into depression, but the papparazzi did little to nothing to leave him alone. He was a meal to then. That... kind of got into his head, until one day, his manager found him dead in his apartment, suffocated by poisonous gas.So many things came to my head. I wanted to hug him. I wanted to cry out. I wanted to tell him everything about Super Nova that happened after his death. But I couldn't bring myself to do any of those things. I was stuck in place as the tension took o
"Wow!" The boys exclaimed together as they opened their eyes one by one, slowly taking in the sight before them. None of them said anything for a long time, staring at everything while I grinned sheepishly from behind, wondering how they were taking the surprise."This is...beautiful." Jules finally said, opening his arms and spreading it out, the other's giggling and agreeing with him."Tell me about it." Victor muttered, before turning to me. "Did fans do all this?"The excitement in his voice had my heart melting there and then, making me stare at him for a minute longer as I recalled all of our times together in the near future.Young Victor was so much more playfull and goofy, but in time he matured as he grew, sso much that he even falls in love with a ghost.Looking at him now only brought back a tidal wave of memories, bile rising in my throat. But I had to answer him. So I nodded slowly, the smile not leaving my face."But...but how? When did they get the time?" Noah question
"Get dressed. We are going to take a tour to time."Julia's words replayed in my head as I buttoned up my polyster black shirt. The hands were full sleeve, puffy but tight cuffs at the end. along with that I had a mini leather skirt and knee high leather boots. All that was left was my signature black trench coat.Once done, I stared at all the new clothes I had bought, biting my lower lip and turning it even more crimson. Rows of vibrant color dress hung in one side, with skirts and summer dresses on the other sides. I shut my eyes tight, gritting my eyes as the memories of Alex's words replayed in my head.He had known all along. I had been trying to change myself for him, a best friend I though he was. But he didn't give a crap about it. But that didn't anger me anymore. What angered me was myself. How could I be so naive? Trying to change myself for a person that didn't like me for who I am? What would Heathens think of me? Victor? Is that what I learnt this whole time? This was j
Dusk had fallen by the time the sudden Hardcore party had come to an end. The boys were all sprawled on the couch, or some on the floor, while Alex, Clark and I stood in a corner, analysing everything.Clark had succesfully become immortal, right in front of his idols, which brought in another episode of celebration. But this time,I did not partake in the celebration. I already had my fill but it seemed like Alex and Clark hadn't. Clark was shy to admit it at first, but one single compliment from Mark had his spirits sky rocketing and once again, he was on. Alex, I had no idea why but my guess is he just wanted to have some fun.Drunk as they were, the boys had dosed of as they are now, leaving the dead three of us to tend to their mess. It was a miracle no one came looking for them, but it also broke ny heart to know that no one from Juniper actually cared for them anymore. This was just outright cruel."It's alright. You guys don't have to do anything. I... I got this." Said Clark,
"I told you I'm not going to do it right? So stop! Stop already!" Said a handsome voice as Alex and I made our way towards one of the Juniper lounges in the building, voices drifting towards our sensitive ears."What did you say? Say that again? Be a man and say that again! No, Clark! I have had enough of him! Don't tell me to calm down!"Alex and I looked at each other in confusion as another manly voice spoke up, not because they were arguing, but because of the unfamiliar name he had just called.Clark? We already knew who were inside the room eating each others head off. It was Hardcore, one of the most well known boy bands of Juniper Entertainment. Alex had said that when he was coming back from his morning flight instead of morning walk, he happened to smell something very odd. Then he heard the sound like the beating of drums, thumping in his ears and followed it, the scent of basil and thyme clinging on. Once he reached his final destination, he had come to find nothing but ju
"Let your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile."____________________________________________________Narrator:The prison was eerily quite that night, save for the occasional snores of the guard's stationed for night duty. But careless as they were, they had not been cautious enough to notice the intruder as he swiftly made his way across the prisons, his black cloak made of shadows fluttering behind him, passing one prison after another. Their carelessness was their doom. Finally the hooded man came to a halt in front of a cell, his lips twisting into a devious smile as he stared at the sleeping prisioner."When dusk falls, and dawn no longer present, the evil dead will finally rise for vengeance and the hounds will lust for blood. That will be the begining of a new era."The girl steered, her eyes slowly opening as she squinted at the intruder, wondering why he would come muttering nonsense when she was trying to sleep."Who are you? Are you a prisioner
Narrator:"Victor? You are still awake? Why are you still up? Sejin will have our heads if we don't get proper sleep now. He won't let us take a single nap tomorrow. What are you doing?" Jake asked as he stumbled into the kitchen in search of water, only to find the younger sitting on a stool, his head resting on his hands in the counter, still in his pajamas with tousled hairs.Victor looked at Seokjin, his eyes heavy with sleep, but he placed on his signature boxy grin."I know. I had gone to bed. Just... had a nightmare."Jake, now finally drinking his so long searched water, knitted his eyebrows in confusion. "Nightmare? What kind of nightmare was it to have you out of bed when you look like you could doze of any second now?"Victor's boxy grin disappeared as he stared down at his hands, his expression stoic as he swallowed the bile in his throat."Of Cilia."Jake halted midway, the bottle still in his hands as he registered the youngers words. Slowly, his face fell, but he still
The night breeze was cool against my skin, which was getting cooler by every second as I flew the skies of New York city. I had no idea where Alex was and that was enough to send me to lose myself.Any time now, Alex would be done with his work, Lord only knows where and I won't be able to save him. I don't even know where he is to begin with. All of this was my fault, bringing Alex in without proper background check. I should have been more careful. But what was done was done, there was no use crying over it now. All that mattered was that I find him and bring an end to his devilish plans. But that was the main issue here. How?Jason had stayed behind at his work place, incase Sav7 actually ended up in there. Julia stayed behind at the mansion, keeping an eye out for any signs of Alex, incase he decided to show up. Which left me on my own device's, without any plan as to where I should begin."Look for Sav7 in SilverSpoon building." A very familiar female voice suggested in my head,
The walk back home wasn't one that I could call pleasing. No, it was entirely opposit of that. I had left the house with a childishly angry and stubborn Alex, frustrated at the fact that I had turned his hair color from purple to silver. Now I was coming alone, all alone, just my thundering heart and raging mind as my company.I was pissed at everything around me. Even the terrible dull grey sky that had changed color with the swing of my mood. The grass beneath my feet had turned orange, crisp like crackers.I was angry as Hell, at myself for being so blinded and angry at Alex for lying to me and playing with my trust. I was angry at everything I passed, starting with Lucifer the son of a Houndess, if there's even a word like that, to start this whole mess. The only thing that kept me sane from burning into flames was one emotion, and I had no idea why I was feeling it.I was missing Alex. The guy was a real pain in the ass, not a very good person for company. But he had his reasons.
"Alright, I'm ready, so were do we go first?" Alex said, straightening his jacket and waiting for an answer from me. Julia and I turned too look at Alex, both of us discussing just about him when he walked in.I had been telling Julia about Alex's life, how he was disowned as a baby by his own parents and how miserable a death he had.How much his life had been like mine.Julia had heard me uptil the end, not interfering in the mddle like she usually did, just some small questions if she didn't understand somethings.Once I was done, Julia frowned, saying our lives were quite the same, but something felt off to her, that the story seemed made up.I felt like to kick her in the gut if Alex wouldn't have shown up right that moment.I mean, made up? What part felt like made up to her? Just because his whole life was tragic? My life had been tragic as well, does that mean I made it all up? Deity's never understand humans like they pretend to do.Julia smiled at Alex as he entered, pretend
