2 YEARS LATER.

It's been two years since Chae Joon and Hae Jin left.

Shin Hye, Hyun Seo, Tae Jin, Se Jong and Jay has already graduated high school and were now in university.

Just like it was decided, Tae Jin, Se Jong and Shin Hye were studying medicine.

Jay was an architectural engineer.

Hyun Seo went back home to help his family with their resort after all.

Shin Hye's father, Mr Shin, was never reported.

Shin Hye and his mother begged them not to.

The man (Shin Joon) who went completely crazy after Hae Jin attacked him, was now in a mental hospital.

The same place he sent his older brother.

Spending his miserable days there in.

Well, they (Se Jong, Tae Jin, Sun and Hee Young) still believe he deserved that and felt sorry for Shin Hye and his mother who were caring for him.

Visiting at least,.......... twice a day.

Mrs Park,......she was never reported either.

In fact, after Shin Joon's failed attempt to kill Tae Jin, Hee Young, Se Jong, Jay and Sun, they never heard from her.

However, they did hear from her lawyer who was the same person in charge of Mr Park, Hae Jin's father's will.

They (Tae Jin, Se Jong, Hee Young, Sun and Jay) were there.

Witnessed everything.

Knew the truth.

What Mo Ah and Shin Joon did.

And they believed, the lawyer, was sent by Mo Ah and what he said when he came over was proof.

The man threatened to destroy them, their lives, blame them for crimes they (Tae Jin, Hee Young, Sun, Se Jong and Jay) did not commit. Get false, fake! witnesses and evidences to imprison them for a very long time if they attempted to report Mo Ah and Shin Joon.

That's exactly what he said and they believed he could do that.

Mo Ah, could do that.

That snake (Mo Ah) had powers, influences! Big people!

Judges, and so on, on her side!

Whatever he (The lawyer) said, she could do it and they were not joking.

One could say, this was another reason why they did not report Shin Joon and kept everything to themselves.

And the only good thing was that, Mo Ah promised to leave them alone.

They couldn't! Shouldn't believe her but there was nothing they could do!

If they try to get rid of her, they'll all end up dead!

They couldn't form a plan to kill her either cause they were not killers.

Even now, they still don't know if they made the right call.

Three (Hae Jin, Yoon Ah and Chae Joon) people died because of them (Mo Ah and Shin Joon)

But then,.......they believe Hae Jin and Chae Joon would have want it that way.

They'll never watch them risk their lives for something (Justice) they'll never get.

"Ah, I miss hyung. So much" Tae Jin said, signing.

In the living room, Tae Jin sat on the double couch, facing Se Jong who sat on the triple couch.

It was just them in the house.

Shin Hye and Jay went to visit Shin Hye's mom.

And Hyun Seo,......he was with his family, helping them with the resort.

Tae Jin and Se Jong had no lecture today so they decided to stay home and relax.

Relax?

Tae Jin was not having that.

He missed his hyung,.....so much.

"Yeah. Me too" Se Jong said, looking sad.

*Sigh, Se Jong sighed in mind, it hasn't been easy since Chae Joon left.

However!

He had to make himself happy!

For Chae Joon's sake!

"By the way, how's Hyun Seo?" Tae Jin asked, curious.

The last time he (Tae Jin) heard from Hyun Seo was a week ago.

He wondered, how was he doing now?

"Fine. Enjoying life there and enjoying his distance relationship with Clara, he told me" Se Jong said, smiling.

"Who knew she was his soulmate?" Tae Jin said, surprised.

He did not see that coming.

Life really was full of surprises.

"I heard your father is dating someone. Who?" Se Jong asked, curious.

He (Se Jong) heard from Hee Young, Sun was dating someone and didn't know who it was.

He was really curious.

"I don't know, I haven't met them yet. But......am glad he got over Hae Jin" Tae Jin said, smiling.

A smirk on his face, Se Jong asked, "Cause you want to be the only one?"

"Shut up" Tae Jin said, pretending to be annoyed.

Se Jong wasn't wrong.

He wanted to be the only one who loved his hyung, romantically.

Yes, he still loved Hae Jin

Still wished fo him.

Missed him.

And he was not moving on anytime soon.

Tae Jin wanted to love Hae Jin for a very long time.

"What about your mom?" Se Jong asked, gaining his attention.

"She moved on. She's dating........a certain someone" he answered and Se Jong asked another question.

"Your real father?"

What was he (Se Jong)? An investigator?

But then,..........

"Yes, my father" Tae Jin said.

He heard from his mom.

And........he wasn't exactly against that cause his mom looked really happy.

Tae Jin no longer hated his mother.

True, he was angry when he first found out what his mother did.

But,........they talked about it and he was okay.

His dad, Sun was right.

His mother was just scared to lose him and deal with him alone.

He understood his mother.

But then,.........

"Turns out, a lot happened between them and he didn't know about me. My mom kept me from him" Tae Jin continued.

His real dad wanted to meet him but was too afraid to choose the day.

Thinking Tae Jin's angry or will reject him.

Tae Jin did not know what to think about that.

But,.......he did know, he wanted to meet the man.

His real father.

Know him more.

"That's not an excuse. They did it and he never came looking for her again" Se Jong said, angry.

Yes.

His mom told him (Tae Jin) what happened and he told Se Jong.

Two hours after Hae Jin's death, she met his real father in the hospital.

He heard she gave birth and wanted to know how she was doing.

Still feeling guilty and thinking he (Tae Jin) might his, he told his mom everything.

Turns out he was in the same hotel that evening. His dad, Sun has already left for his room. Seeing his mom dead drunk alone in the bar, he decided to help her to her room.

Getting into her room, one thing led to another and they ended up.....'doing it'. Afterwards, his mom fell asleep. He tried to wake her up but didn't succeed.

And so, he decided to take a shower.

Afterwards, he came back and his mom was gone.

Her cloths as well.

Turns out she dressed up and went into his dad's (Sun) room.

Getting there, she undressed cause she felt really hot and got on the bed with his dad.

And then, they woke up the next morning and both were naked.

Definitely, because his dad (Sun) also took off his cloths cause it was hot and he felt uncomfortable.

And then!.......we all know what happened next.

They thought they did something and a month later, his mom was pregnant!

His real father did say he searched for his mom.

Searched the whole hotel but not the rooms.

Also, he did not know Sun was there as well.

He really tried to find his mom.

Contacted all her friends and his friends in case they saw her or knew her whereabouts but he got nothing.

Well, he did get her phone number but it never went through when he called.

She (Hee Young) changed her sim card.

And then, his real father had to go to the states cause his dad was not feeling well and someone had to take care of the family business there.

Even so, he never gave up and sent people to look for her.

They found her but never told him and reported to his father who hid it from him.

Cause he wanted him to focus on the business not on a woman.

Something like that.

Finding out this, he came back to meet her and they met at the hospital.

One more thing,........

His mom and real dad attended the same school.

Were in the same class as Hae Jin, his dad (Sun), Shin Joon and his wife.

However, they were not close.

But then,........his real father really loved his mom.

Tried to approach her so many times but something always crossed their paths.

After finding out this, his mom did the DNA test and he (His real father) was right.

Scared, his mom ran.

Not before kicking his real dad out of their (Hee Young and Tae Jin) lives and breaking his poor heart.

She literally begged him to stay away from them.

She never loved him and never will.

And...........his real dad did exactly as she said.

But he did say, he was always around.

Watching them from afar.

When he (Tae Jin) want to the states, was in the same city as his real father, the man would visit him every chance he got but always made sure Tae Jin won't see him.

His mom was scared of losing his dad, Sun, who was her one true friend.

Hae Jin was already gone and if he found out it was a mistake and he (Tae Jin) was not his son, definitely, she'll lose him too.

His mom couldn't think of raising him alone.

Was scared to do that and fail.

But, she could have contacted his real father, right? The man loved her and was willing to do anything for her.

Well,......his mom only wanted Sun.

He was the only man, the only person she trusted besides Hae Jin whom she has lost.

And if she had to lie, become a traitor, an enemy in the eyes of people, close or not, then,........ she'll face it all, as long as she had his dad (Sun) by her side.

Yes, she did not do the right thing.

Tae Jin agree and he knew she was not thinking straight.

He hated his dad (Sun) thinking he left them for someone else.

And his mom never said a word because she was afraid of his (Tae Jin) anger, hatred.

His mom was wrong.

What she did......destroyed his dad's life.

Trapping him (Sun) into a fake life was wrong.

All those years,......he (Sun) could have gain more.

Something of his own.

A family that belonged to him.

His mom took that away and she knew this.

She still felt guilty and always apologized every time they (Hee Young and Sun) met or talked.

She has decided to make it up to his dad (Sun)

She still didn't know how but only time could tell, right?

"Don't blame him Se Jong. It was my mom's fault. You already know this" Hae Jin said to him (Se Jong)

"Your mom, she has a lot of secrets huh?"

"Hmmm" Tae Jin replied.

Right then, the front door opened, gaining their attentions and seconds later, Shin Hye and Jay showed up.

Taking a seat beside Se Jong.

They watched her (Shin Hye) feeling sorry for her.

She did not deserve this.

"How's your mom? Dad?" Se Jong asked and she sighed, exhausted, before replying,

"Fine. My dad is not and......my mom is with him. And......." Shin Hye let out another sigh before continuing, "The properties, that woman took everything. However, it hasn't gone publicly yet"

"Seriously?!" Se Jong exclaimed, sharing a look with Tae Jin who also taken back.

"We only have the house and the hospital now. And.........." 

*Sigh, she sighed again, "I don't want to take about this anymore" she said and they nodded.

They understood.

She was going through a lot.

Overnight, everything that belonged to her family..........

What she believed was hers, was gone.

And she found out it, from the very beginning, it was never hers.

"Let's leave Jay. I want to visit Si-Yeong's grave" she said and Jay looked down, depressed.

Si-Yeong, the kid crossed over a month after Hae Jin and Chae Joon did.

And he (Jay) still can't get over it.

She already settled her unfinished business.

Got all the rewards, even so,........she wanted to cross over and.....

She did.

The saddest thing was that,......Jay wasn't around when she did.

She left him a note, stating if he saw it, then she has already crossed over.

She thanked him for everything and said the three words she never, not once said.

'I love you'

This broke Jay into pieces.

He was angry when he found out.

Si-Yeong, his little kid, left without seeing him.

But then, he understood.

If they saw each other before she left.

It would have hurt more.

It would have been hard for her to leave.

He (Jay) wouldn't have let her go.

"Sung Yoon said she'll come by" Se Jong said.

Sung Yoon, such a lucky girl.

She was told long ago that she'll be crossing over but then, that never happened.

Until now, she's still here.

So,....how come his hyung crossed over so soon?

Tae Jin....he still can't get over it.

He thought, looking sad.

"It's been two years, don't you guys think is about time you move on?" Shin Hye said, seeing how sad Tae Jin was.

"It's been two years, don't you think is too early to move on?" Tae Jin said, annoying her (Shin Hye)

Can she say the same if she was in his (Tae Jin) shoes?

"Don't give me that Tae Jin" Shin Hye said, annoyed.

"I really loved him (Hae Jin) Shin Hye. And I still do. I can't imagine moving on without him" he said, sad.

"But you have to. He's already gone" Shin Hye said, feeling sorry him.

Looking at Se Jong, she finally noticed the sad look on his face.

*Sigh, she sighed in mind.

Fine!

She'll drop this topic.

"Then,....... we'll see you guys later" Jay said, getting up while forcing Shin Hye up as well.

The girl did not want to leave even though she said so earlier.

"Hmmm" Tae Jin replied, still sad.

"I don't want to leave yet!" Shin Hye said, annoyed as Jay dragged her out.

Shin Hye and Jay gone, Tae Jin called out to him.

"Se Jong"

"Yes?" 

"Do you really think we should move on? I can't do that. I miss him (Hae Jin) so much. I can't stop thinking about him. How he's doing. What he's doing now. Where he is.....I can't move on" Tae Jin said.

"Me too. I can't eat or drink without thinking about him (Chae Joon) I can't sleep without thinking about him, dreaming about him, recalling our days together"

*Sigh, Tae Jin sighed, "I wonder what I should do now. Who should I speak to. Feels like no one understands me. No one" Tae Jin said.

"I do, cause am going through the same" Se Jong replied and they looked at each other, smiling.

"Right, my only friend"

"Don't let them hear that or you're dead" Se Jong said with a smile.

A depressed look coming on his face, Tae Jin stated, "I've been dead for so long"

Yeah

'Me too'
