Author: Where's the 'Please'? Also! You called your brother 'Hyung' before. I don't remember the chapter, it's been 13years after all but you did!!

Sung Yoon: I never said that, you wrote wrong.

Without permission to come in, Se Jong entered the room anyways.

He knocked for like three times or so, Tae Jin didn't reply, and so, he took it upon himself to come in.

Inside the room, he found Tae Jin at the study table, probably studying again.

Since the night Hae Jin went missing, Hae Jin spends most of his time studying.

Se Jong believe he focused more on his studies just so he won't think about Hae Jin.

Was it a good thing?

They still didn't know where Hae Jin was.

He didn't believe Hae Jin left on his own. There was just no way he could do that.

He saw it.

Hae Jin really cared about Tae Jin.

On the day they came and were cleaning up, he followed Tae Jin around, making sure he won't get hurt.

And he saw it, how worried he was when Tae Jin found it hard to push aside that old heavy microwave (That was also broken by the way and it has been replaced as well) just so he'll clean where it was positioned.

He was worried he might get hurt.

 He saw it all.

He still didn't know why Hae Jin didn't help him when he was so worried about him.

He was a ghost and he had his powers right? So why didn't he help him?

And why was he watching Tae Jin secretly?

I'll answer that, that's because Hae Jin didn't want Tae Jin to know he had forgiven him for lashing out on him.

He didn't want him to know he has forgiven him or that he worried about him until Tae Jin apologized to him himself.

Back to the story,

Se Jong took a seat on the bed, watching Tae Jin.

He was studying alright.

"By the way Tae Jin, the books on the shelf there, why don't you get them out?"

Se Jong asked as he pointed to the bookshelf.

The books weren't theirs.

They still haven't asked his mother who used to live in the house but they could tell that person was studying to become a doctor.

The books proved it.

Come to think of it............

Tae Jin's mother and dad were doctors, could it be the books belonged to them?

Could it be they used to live in this house?

"Leave them" Tae Jin said, not taking his eyes off his books.

For some reason, Tae Jin didn't want them to throw away the books.

Renovating the house,.........

They only cleaned the shelf and left the books.

Well, the books were already cleaned up, probably by Hae Jin or Tae Jin.

It had to be one of them.

Maybe he was thinking of using them since he'll also study to be a doctor when he gets to college.

Maybe he thought he might need the books.

Well,......... they all decided to become doctors. Of course, except Hyun Seo.

Hyun Seo wanted to be a doctor just like them but..........for some reason, he said he wasn't sure of it anymore.

He hasn't told them what he'll be doing after they graduate.

They were worried about him.

Lost in thought land, Se Jong stared at the bookshelf.

Suddenly, he noticed something that snapped him out of his thoughts.

Those novel and comic books in the bookshelf, he has seen it many times but never asked about.

Those.........

"Those books don't belong to you right?" He asked and Tae Jin didn't answer.

Maybe because he didn't understand what he was talking about.

"The fictional books, they don't belong to you right?" He asked and this time, Tae Jin answered,

"Not mine. Hae Jin's"

Now! That explains everything! Se Jong thought, a smile playing on his lips.

How could he be so stupid!!

That was it!

Tae Jin didn't want them to clear up the bookshelf because of fictional books owned by Hae Jin.

He still cared about him.

Yes!

He remember, he and Tae Jin were the ones who cleaned up the bookshelf.

Tae Jin didn't want him to touch the fictional books.

In fact, he kept them aside while they were cleaning the bookshelf.

Oh, right! He remember something!

He attempted to touch the fictional books once and Tae Jin smacked his hand pretty hard!

God knew, it hurt every time he remembered it.

Including now.

Se Jong thought as he caressed his right hand who was the victim, a frown on his handsome face as he remembered that day.

"If you have nothing else to say you can leave now. I want to focus" Tae Jin said, he didn't spare him a glance, again.

*Sigh, Se Jong sighed tiredly as he dropped his hand which was caressing the other.

"Tae Jin, you have really changed. Ever since that night. You barely smile and laugh. You always look gloomy. Now included"

*Sigh, "You don't spend time with us unless forced to. And you have been acting like a jerk towards everyone. Have you seen Shin Hye? Your girlfriend, remember her? You don't spend time with her anymore. When she ask you out, you bluntly reject her and give the same excuse, 'I have to learn, the exams is just around the corner"

"You always give this excuse. We all have the exams as well you know? Do you even know where she went to today?"

Why did he even ask? Tae Jin had no idea and he said so to Sung Yoon earlier.

"Not my problem"

"She's your girlfriend"

"Not my slave. She doesn't have to always tell me where she's going. She has the right to make her own decisions"

*Sigh, this guy.........

"I guess you won't listen to me. I'll leave"

Se Jong said and left the room, angry.

*Sigh, Tae Jin sighed feeling tired. He dropped his pen on the book, before holding his head.

He still wasn't better and his head hurt a lot. He just hope he won't experience another fever.

He thought and suddenly, his phone rang, looking on his phone which was beside the book he was reading, he saw the caller ID, 'DD' 

It was from him.

He has been calling a lot lately and he didn't feel like picking up.

Not now.

And so, it was decided, he'll not answer the call.

Tae Jin turned off the screen, leaned into the chair and sighed again as he stared at the ceiling.

'I'm bored' was his last words.

Noon (Around 1pm)

"I had a great time" Shin Hye said as she and Jay made a stop in front of her house.

Ever since the night Hae Jin disappeared and Tae Jin started acting like a jerk, she has been spending more time with Jay.

Every time she was sad, depressed because Tae Jin hasn't been nice, she always came to him and he....... always lift up her mood.

She was so glad to have him in her life.

And truth be told, she hasn't introduced Jay to her friends and boyfriend yet.

It's been a year and they still didn't know about him.

Why?

She can't find the answer.

All she knew was, now wasn't the time.

"I'm glad you had fun" Jay said with a smile.

"Thanks for taking me out"

"No need. I also had a great time. You know,......I don't know anyone around the neighborhood and my friends, they've all been busy so, is kind of boring"

"Uh, should I be angry hearing this? Haven't I been a great company? How come you still say you're bored after spending time with me?"

"Well, after we part ways, I feel lonely and bored and that's because I miss you and the time we spend together"

"You're too much" Shin Hye said through laughter.

"I believe you" Jay said, a smile on his face as he stared at Shin Hye.

"You should go in now" he said after he snapped out of that world. 

The world that involved just Shin Hye and how beautiful she looked while laughing.

"Yeah, thanks again"

"Bye"

"Bye"

And they part ways. Jay watched Shin Hye as she left, smiling.

"Bored? Lonely, should I feel hurt finding this out" a voice ever so familiar said, startling Jay.

He turned back, coming face to face with her.

"God! You scared me!" He said to the 10 year old girl who stood in front of him. Looking annoyed.

The girl was just too cute for her own good, not to forget, scary, when she's angry.

The little girl had long black hair and sky eyes.

This girl was.......

"Don't do that Si-Yeong"

Si-Yeong, this was the little girl.

"You said you're bored and lonely without her. Should I feel jealous?"

Shit!

"That......" Jay began, struggling to find the words that will appease the little girl.

"I'm always around, keeping you company, yet you still feel bored and lonely?"

He didn't mean it that way..........well, he can't explain either.

He was at fault but..........Hold on! She heard everything?!

"Don't tell me.........did you follow us?" Jay said and the little girl rolled her eyes before saying.

"And you didn't notice. I stal—I mean, followed you all the way! And you didn't notice"

"You were stalking me?"

"I followed you"

"I don't see the difference"

"There is!" Or maybe there wasn't, she had no idea! She was ten for God sake!

Author: I don't think that's a good excuse.

Si-Yeong: And I don't want to hear that from you.

Author: A kid just shut me up. A ten year old kid!

"In any case,..........Do you like her that much?"

"I do"

Author: I wasn't done talking.

"Why don't you confess? Looks like she likes you too"

What?

"No way. She's friendly, that's just who she is. And she has a boyfriend"

A boyfriend she loved so much. Shin Hye hasn't told him (That she love Tae Jin very much) but he can see it in her eyes.

Every time she talked about Tae Jin, she looked so happy.

So happy that, he felt jealous.

"A boyfriend who doesn't give a fuck about her"

"Language little girl" Jay said, a frown on his face.

"Let's just go. We have work to do" The little girl said as she turned to leave.

Following her, Jay asked,

"Are you angry?"

"Am not. Next time don't say such words to her! They're lies" she said as she walked.

Smiling, Jay replied, "Next time don't eavesdrop, you'll feel sad"

"You'll keep saying such lies to her?"

".................I can't answer that"

He......he really can't.

Night (Around 8pm)

After having their dinner without Tae Jin, the friends went back to their rooms.

Tae Jin refused to eat with them and knowing the kind of person he has become very well, they decided not to push him and that's why they ended up having dinner alone.

Tae Jin was once again learning, hell bent on passing the exams.

Or so, those who doesn't know the reason why he has become this way would think.

Shin Hye planned on studying as well but after getting a message from Jay, she ended up ditching her books.

She chose the guy over her books.

Was that a good decision?

Anyways,...............

Hyun Seo who still hasn't gotten a bed was in his tent, learning for the upcoming exams.

Poor guy, no matter what he said, his friends still didn't get him a bed.

They got him the TV when he demanded for it continuously but didn't get the bed.

And when he finally got the money to buy one, Se Jong refused to have a bed beside his.

He said everything but nothing worked.

Se Jong, who was on his bed, trying to learn something couldn't focus at all. The book in his hand was literally shouting 'Read me!!' but he couldn't hear.

He was worried about Chae Joon.

Chae Joon has been gone for hours and he was worried about him even though he knew Chae Joon wasn't weak.

He was strong, knew how to use his powers.

He was a hunter of evil ghosts after all.

Yet.........he was still worried about him.

"Hey, Se Jong" Hyun Seo called out to him as he opened the tent, showing his face.

Looking at his direction, Se Jong asked, "What?"

"What do you think about love?"

Huh? Why was he asking that? Hyun Seo has never shown interest in love.

Author: Right, am also confused, his role is to be stupid. Ask stupid questions.

"Why do you ask? Are you in love?"

"No, I just recalled what Nancy told me. She said I'll meet my soulmate and she's a little different. But I haven't met anyone yet. It's been a year already"

Oh, so.........Hyun Seo wanted to fall in love? That's a surprise.

Se Jong thought as he smiled before answering his friend's question.

"Well, people have different definitions for love"

"What's yours?"

"Mine?"

"Yes, yours"

"Well,.........I believe love is........... showing care,........ making the person you love happy without asking for anything in return. Is about understanding the person, being there for them, supporting them. When the person I love is happy, am also happy"

"Are you in love?" Hyun Seo asked.

And for some reason, Se Jong wanted to share this.

"Yes, and...........is a male" he confessed, surprising Hyun Seo.

"Holy shit! Don't let Tae Jin find out about this! He'll disown you" Hyun Seo exclaimed, making Se Jong smile.

"What am I? His son?"

"So, who is it? Do I know him?"

"No, you don't. He's an older guy"

An old man in a young body, Se Jong thought smiling.

"You really have your type huh?" Hyun Seo asked but it was more like a statement.

"Handsome, sometimes cute" Se Jong said as he recalled his love, Chae Joon.

"If you don't mind me asking..........are you gay?"

Uh.......this question......he........

"I don't know but I know I love him only. I don't know if that's considered as being gay"

Well, he (Hyun Seo) didn't know either.

"Well, I wish you luck and I hope to meet him"

"I hope so too" Se Jong said as he looked up at the ceiling.

He also hope Chae Joon will accept his love. He knew Chae Joon felt the same. He can see it in his eyes, when he looked at him, but then.........

He wonder, if Chae Joon knew what he felt about him.

Time (Around 11pm)

Se Jong came out to get a glass of water from the kitchen and the moment he came out, Tae Jin came out of his room as well.

All dressed up.

Looking horrified, anxious.

"What happened?" He asked him.

"My mom called. She was crying and sounded drunk"

Drunk? That's a huge surprise. Tae Jin's mom,.........she didn't like alcohol, she hated it, so...... This is pretty............ surprising.

"Do you know where she is now?"

"Home. She said she's home. I'm going to meet her"

"I'll come with you"

"I can't wait for you" Tae Jin said, noticing the dress he wore.

Se Jong was in his nightie.

"Then go ahead, I'll meet you there" Se Jong said and Tae Jin nodded before hurriedly leaving.

Miss Hee Young was drunk? This.........this was just unbelievable.

This was the first time he was hearing something like this.

He wonder,.......... what got her drunk?

Author: Alcohol?

No! He meant.......... what was the reason? What complied her to drink?
