"My father? What did he do?"

"Shin Hye,........the hospital your father owns is the one thing rightfully his. Everything else. All the fancy, luxurious hotels, motels, restaurants, cafes, car shops, none of them belong to him" Hee Young said to her (Shin Hye) in a gentle tone.

"They all belong to Hae Jin, the rightful heir to the Park Family's fortunes" Sun said.

"What?" Shin Hye yelled out, surprised, horrified.

What?.......What were they saying?!

"After your father's death, it turned out he gave everything to you Hae Jin" Sun said to him (Hae Jin)

"My father..... he's dead?" Hae Jin asked, surprised.

He did not know about this.

What happened to him?!

"Yes, we didn't tell you because we were worried about you. We thought of telling you about it after you came back from the states but then,.......you died and everything.......was messed up" Hee Young said.

"What happened to him?" Hae Jin asked, devastated.

"Heart attack" Sun replied.

Yes, his dad did have a heart problem.

Seriously! He died long time ago and he (Hae Jin) was finding out now!

"My mom didn't like it and so.....he asked for Shin Joon's help. If they got everything, it'll be in my mother's name but then, Shin Joon will take charge of everything" Chae Joon said.

He (Chae Joon) still did not know why Shin Joon agreed to this.

Being in charge of all the properties did not mean he owned them all.

Why did he agree?

Was he stupid?

"What?" Shin Hye yelled out.

What.......What was her father thinking?!

How could he do this?!

"Everyone thinks Shin Joon owns everything cause all the properties were put on the market and Shin Joon bought them all. But that never happened. It was plan they (Chae Joon' mother and Shin Joon) formed. I don't know how they did it but Shin Joon got everything. I guess they bribed the lawyer as well and he helped" Hee Young said.

"They also lied, saying your father wished to sell everything. It was his last wish or something. So, many didn' find it....... weird when it was announced that, Shin Joon bought everything and now owns them all" Sun said.

"She said your father never planned on giving you anything cause he was ashamed of you. He disowned you........never thought of you as his son after he found out,......you're gay" Hee Young said.

That never happened.

His (Hae Jin) father accepted him just the way he was.

He loved him, cared for him.

His father told him so, before he went to the states.

"I'm sorry Hae Jin, my mother did everything for me. She got everything for me" Chae Joon said, feeling guilty.

"You couldn't handle this truth....And your death........ That's why you killed yourself" Hae Jin said and he (Chae Joon) answered,

"Yes"

"You shouldn't have done that idiot! That was not your fault! Your mom made her choices. She took this path!" Hae Jin said, feeling bad for Chae Joon.

"And I'm the reason. This is the very reason why I didn't tell you anything. I thought you'll be angry" Chae Joon said, feeling guilty, sad.

"You idiot!" Hae Jin yelled at him (Chae Joon), tears in his eyes.

"My father,..... All my life, I believed I was born blessed but.....I never knew, I was enjoying someone's blessings" Shin Hye said, looking horrified, feeling guilty, sad.

Did Nancy know about this too? Was this the very reason why she told her (Shin Hye) to work hard and become richer than her parents?

"I'm sorry Hae Jin" she apologized.

Feeling sorry for her, Hyun Seo placed his hand on her shoulder, gently caressing it.

"Don't worry, is not your fault" Hae Jin said to her (Shin Hye)

"My mom......she knows nothing of this. I swear, she doesn't know" Shin Hye said.

And even she, was having second thoughts.

Thinking about her mother's behaviors towards her father.

"Actually,.........she does but.......she never took action because she was scared of what your father will do to her. Also,...you....know nothing and you love your father very much. She didn't want to hurt you or disappoint you" Sun said.

"I see" she said.

So, her mother did know.

Everything.

But,.......did her father know? That her mother knew all about his bad deeds?

"Hae Jin,......we have to talk about us" Sun said.

Worried about Hee Young, Hae Jin looked at her.

Smiling, she said, "Don't worry, I'm okay now"

Seriously?

He (Sun) did not even think about Hee Young.

What was he (Sun) thinking?!

"No, I can't. You betrayed me Sun. And you made Tae Jin's life a living hell! He thought you didn't love him! He......." Sun cut him (Hae Jin) off, hurt, he (Sun) said,

"Hae Jin!, I've been looking for you for the past 19years. I never stopped loving you.  You have no idea.......I was crushed to pieces when I found out you're dead. I looked for you everywhere but........ I never came here" 

Sun could see ghosts.

And it after Hae Jin's death that he got this ability.

He believed he got it just so he'll apologize to Hae Jin.

And after finding out the truth, he believed he got it, just so he'll tell Hae Jin everything.

Hae Jin was right here.

In this very house they bought together.

But he never came.

Never crossed his mind to come here.

"Not now Sun. I need some time alone" Hae Jin said, got up and left.

Heading for the front door.

Devastated, Sun called out to him, "Hae Jin!"

"Let him be for now, he needs some time alone" Chae Joon said and even though he (Sun) did not agree, he did not attempt to follow Hae Jin.

Time (Around 11am)

Coming to the house, Sung Yoon met Hae Jin outside.

Requesting they sit outside (On the stairs leading to the front door) and talk, Sung Yoon agreed.

Hae Jin told her everything.

And also, about Sun and Hee Young coming over.

They were inside right now and he needed some time alone that's why he was outside and requested she joined him.

"You knew everything too right?" Hae Jin asked.

"I didn't know you are Chae Joon's brother. But.........I looked into the pizza place with my brother. We found the old woman and showed her a drawing of you. Chae Joon drew it" Sung Yoon said.

This was what she found out and decided to keep to herself because she was afraid.

Hae Jin did not want to cross over, but after finding out his past life, he might.

That's why she never said a word until now.

But,........now that he knew everything, was he going to cross over now?

Then again, Hae Jin had to decide that.

What will be his decision?

He still did not have the last reward (To stay in this world for as long as he wanted) meaning, if he decide to stay in this world, he might turn into an evil ghost, right?

"I taught him how to draw" Hae Jin said, drawing her out of her thoughts.

"Right, you said, you remember everything now" Sung Yoon said.

"Not everything. I still don't remember leaving my body. Chae Joon too"

"I see"

"What did you find from the owner?" Hae Jin asked and she answered,

"Former owner. After my brother showed her a picture of you, she remembered you. And she showed us—I mean, my brother. She could only see him. She showed a picture of you three. You, Hee Young and Sun. You were all smiling, happy"

"We took that picture when we were celebrating Sun's birthday. 18th birthday. He wanted pizza" Hae Jin said with a smile, recalling his days with Sun and Hee Young.

"That memory you saw.....in the car, having pizza with someone"

"It was Sun. We......we came back from a date and I wanted to have that pizza. It was my favorite"

"Yes, she told me" Sung Yoon said.

The old woman could not stop smiling when she said this.

Hae Jin really loved her pizza.

His smile, face, eyes, words were honest and they spoke the exact truth.

And because of him, she never stopped working and always worked hard.

Hearing his death on the news really broke her heart and never got the desire to work that hard again.

"That woman I saw, the one who hated me so much, I told you about her, right?" Hae Jin said, gaining her attention.

"Go on" Sung Yoon said.

".......is my stepmother, Chae Joon's mom" Hae Jin said, surprising her.

Seriously?

"What are you going to do now?"

"I don't know Sung Yoon. I really don't know"

"What about Sun? Tae Jin?" Sung Yoon asked.

Wow, he used to date the father and now he was dating the son.

This.....this was just too much for him (Hae Jin).

"I don't know Sung Yoon but I don't think we (He and Tae Jin) should continue this"

"You'll break up with Tae Jin?" Sung Yoon asked, surprised.

What? They just started dating and now.........this!

She....she felt sorry for the two.

"I love Tae Jin way too much Sung Yoon but I can't do this. Sun....Sun....he was my first love and I loved him so much"

"Was your first love. Loved him so much. Past tense, has your feelings for him returned?"

"I don't know but I can't forgive him. He betrayed me. They betrayed me" Hae Jin said, still hurt.

"Hae Jin?"

A familiar voice called out to him, gaining their attentions.

Looking ahead, they saw an old man standing at the entrance gate, looking surprised, relief and grateful at the same time.

Hae Jin knew who it was.

He remembered him.

And he was glad to see him.
