When she mentioned Catherine, though I was shocked she called her my fiancée, I knew that she must have said that to still place herself in a higher position. The dots started to connect, I understood everything now. I understood why she had refused to pick up my calls, nor reply to my message, why she sneaked out from the agency, avoiding me. She must have spoken to Catherine today. A strong anger rushed through my system. I imagine what she had told her, with the number of words she said in a minute I bet she doesn’t even remember she had told Helen such a thing.
