Emma's POV

The night I was thrown into the cell was filled with hope, I had hoped that Alpha Lucas will definitely come and save me the following day, he wouldn’t let anything happen to me, even with the awkward state I was in I tried to sleep comfortably in the bed.

I woke up the next day, with my back gently laid against the wall, I waited for him to visit me in the cell or have his men release me, but I got nothing and started counting each second that passed.

I was almost giving up when he came, and I was glad, I was happy when he came, but at the end of our conversation I was left with nothing but heart break, the hope I had was gone, and I could see he didn’t believe me, he had doubts.

He should have known I will never do such a thing, I will never hurt anyone, I will never lie to anyone even if I hate the person, I spent the rest of the day crying, I couldn’t believe the man I have come to love so much could let me down, I blamed myself for letting my guard down.
