Alpha Lucas’s POV

It was another morning. I stood up from the bed to hear the first roaster crow. I took a quick bath and dressed up. I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed.

A lot of things are going through my head at once, and the thought of what I was going to do regarding Lady Lana kept me awake for most of the night. It’s so shocking what people could do just to satisfy their greed. It would have been much better if my mother wasn’t involved, but now she is, and she is going to face my wrath.

I stepped out of my chambers, and the guards quickly moved over to stand five feet behind me. I looked at the sky, and the sun was just rising from the horizon. The slaves were busy chattering, and they held their gowns up as they were busy going on with their daily chores.

I walked swiftly to the dungeon where every one of them is. The guards paved way for me when I arrived at the dungeon, and I went inside. I sighed and stepped into the darkness.
