Chapter 27

Rayne’s POV

When we arrived at the palace, a video had already been sent to my phone. Sitting in the car, I pressed the play button and held the phone up for us all to see the video. We stared at the tiny screen, watching a black and white security video. The camera must be pointing at the service entrance. We watch as three men exit the service lift around 3pm. Two of them are carrying something over their shoulders. “Summer and Eden,” Dawson says, peering over my shoulder. “We need a bigger screen. To be certain. We don’t want to be chasing the wrong people.”

We headed into my office. Mike is sitting in my office, in my seat. With his feet up on my desk, “Get out.” I barked at him. It’s then I realized how much I really hated the man. He has no respect for me. Nathan and Dawson wait outside. I can’t imagine how their aura will be right now. It would probably kill him and if anyone was going to get that pleasure, it would be me.
