Chapter 32 – Day of the Eclipse

Alpha Isaac’s POV

It was just after midnight when Gale and around 30 men arrived at the Red Moon Pack. “Tell me what’s happened?” he asked. I told him about the wolves at the gate a few days ago and about their threats.

“I am not afraid of them. Heck, I am the first one into a fight. I am not afraid to die for what I believe in.” Gale smiled; he knew me before I was an Alpha. “I know, my old friend. I know.”

“Regardless, I had to get the women and children to safety. I couldn’t have their lives threatened. They were the reason I contacted Nathan.”

“The King’s gifted this pack to you and made you Alpha. Not because of your heritage, but because of your actions. If they attack, they are going against the King’s wishes.” I nodded my head in agreement. I never asked to be made Alpha. Nathan offered it to me. For the safety and security of my people, I accepted.
